Got the Azurite Paragon after using the Tank all month and tbh the smooth back is a nice change compared to all the textures on the Tank lol

The grip on the sides and its thinness feel really good and this blue is sexy af

Where is my Pitaka case? Why is it loaded on a GOFO truck in Illinois when it's coming to Florida?

First was YunExpress now GOFO, Will this be delivered by USPS or what?

I hate these small time “logistics providers”. Absolute bottom of the barrel shipping. That’s why I no longer order anything that ships directly from China (other than iPhones). Good luck, hope it arrives sooner rather than later. 🤞🏼

I’ve gotten many items from China by air no problem direct from manufacture.

Yeah, it basically sucks a big one. So, will this be delivered by GOFO or the US Postal service?

Been 9 days already and I'm still thumbing my @ss over here 🙁

DHL Fed Ex. I used to import small items from China and used air. More expensive but faster and more predictable. The manufacturer would ship because they got much better air rates than I could get on my own.
Well sure, DHL and FedEx are good. In my experience though, Chinese case makers that ship direct typically use low budget carriers that hand off the package multiple times, complicating the tracking and slowing the delivery.

GoFo is a last mile carrier, and one of their drivers will be the one dropping the package at your door. Hopefully.

(And in the U.S., it will be at your door, or wherever is convenient. Mail boxes are reserved for the use of the USPS, and private carriers, including FedEx, UPS, and so on, are legally prohibited from depositing packages inside them.)

YunExpress is the logistics provider who collected the package in China, and transported it across the ocean. They do the "heavy lifting," but don't service the last mile.

In the past, cheap international postal rates saw many, if not most, shipments from China sent via China Post, which would hand off the packages to the local postal service.

But since that situation changed, traffic shifted to private carriers, like YE, and Cainiao (part of the Alibaba group) who provide the overseas transport, then transfer the packages to domestic carriers to handle the local delivery.

These types of last mile servicers (UniUni, GoFo, EasyExpress/Lalaship, etc.) are chosen because they are cheap, but rely on gig workers in their own vehicles, who provide uneven (to be kind) levels of service, and are often the source of complaints.

They are overloaded with work, and if for any reason they can't, or don't want to make a delivery, can mark whatever random excuse in their app, and not do the job, or just delay until they can, or feel like it. As gig workers, there is no sense of commitment, or fear of consequences for failing to perform.

In areas that they don't serve, the postal service may still be called upon.

Nowaways, things acutally do make it faster overseas than they did in the past. But the quality of the domestic service, and last mile in particular, has suffered.
