iPhone 17/e/Air/Pro/Pro Max Cases

Looking through my collection for an open pleateau case to help my phone deal with the brutal heat here in Germany right now, I discovered I only returned the white version of the Benks Mist case I bought back in September and not the black.😂 I had discarded the case in the unused pile because of the metal ring around the camera plateau and it was still sealed in its package. Lo and behold, this is actually a pretty great case! Rubbery feeling TPU and frosted back plate, clicky metal buttons, raised lip on the front and an absolute perfect fit that follows the iPhones curves. For 18,99 on Amazon right now, absolutely worth the money. (The white version is somehow not available anymore)

Did anyone get the Popsocket Low Pro? I have two kick stands and I’m loving the much lower profile and weight of the Low Pro. Only complaint is the extended form of the disc feels a bit flimsy and it doesn’t let you prop the phone up landscape mode without peeling out the kick stand.

Pics of the Low Pro and the stand kick stand for comparison.

For those of you using Pitaka type thin cases, do you use a screen protector? I’ve been enjoying my 17 pro without screen protector in a TW case since launch but I’m tempted to get a Pitaka which I always used on my previous max phones. The lack of screen lip is my biggest concern

Damn, they must have really messed up that whole production of the orchid version. ☹️ Because my midnight is flawless. Hope they’ll give you a full refund!

I have a purple and black Sheath for my 14 and neither one of them have those marks on them. Seems like they're rushing development and cutting back on QC just to meet demand. Just sad because they used to be legendary.

I personally don’t use a screen protector with my Pitaka case and have no concerns. The form factor of the ultra slim and bare screen to me is unmatched. I’ve actually never used screen protectors on any of my phones though, not a fan of them so take my input with a grain of salt.

If you’re concerned, the screen protector with the Pitaka will definitely give you peace of mind but either way give it a shot.

It might feel strange and scary at first when you’re used to regular cases. After a while you get used to it and build confidence with it, then it’s unmatched imo. Going back to any regular case will feel bulky.

I can sort of understand the mindset of people who go caseless and the way they feel about cases. Completely caseless though isn’t for me lol

I can't go without screen protectors. One microscratch and I'd feel like throwing the whole phone away 😂 And screen protectors have gotten so good! I'm currently using the Flolab NanoArmour ONETIME PRO Anti Reflective PolarSpectra Infinity Edge Case-Friendly (what a name) and that thing is just wonderful. I remember when we'd still have to deal with actual foils and ghost touches and whatnot back in the day. We've come a looooong way.
