The OrigArmor would have been the perfect one, but my OCD couldn’t handle the micro-scratche. I ended up getting a sapphire screen protector, but I loose the Anti-Reflectiveness.
Mine is too new to see any micro scratches. Did they affect clarity/usage with screen on? Or only visible when the screen was off?

Figured I would chime in. I’ve tried so many screen protectors on my 17 Pro. I cannot find a perfect one! Here’s where we stand as far as the best:

Flolab 3D: The clearest screen. Best AR. No light bleed. But cuts off a little bit of the right side. Also hard to get installed without bubbles but it just takes some practice. (Get it off Amazon and return if you have an issue).

TORRAS Origarmor: Perfect fitment. No light bleed. AR isn’t as good and almost has a greasy feeling to it. Lastly it scratches wayyyy too easy (from nothing!). Flolab 3D is better.

TORRAS released a NEW Origarmor LITE a week or two ago. It’s better than the original except it cuts off a little of the right (very little) but man the AR is amazing and it’s the best feeling one… and no scratches whatsoever. Black border but not 3D so depending on the case you can see some light bleed. It’s $5 cheaper and has a different thumbnail on Amazon.

ESR told me they have a new protector coming out end of the month that will not cover any of the screen. I’m excited to try that. They are supposed to send me one.

Everything else is garbage. For now I’m rocking the Flolab 3D.

Looking forward to ESR's new protector if its true that it will not cover the screen at all. Regarding the Torras origarmor, still not scratches on mine after a week.

The one I just installed doesn't, when checked against the Project Indigo camera app.

Can't say if it would be the same with Apple's camera app, since the brackets aren't present in 26.
Just an update I installed the Namaso which Bryan? Recommended. It’s quite good. No hard edges when used without case and it shows all the camera L shapes on either side of the screen. However there’s another test which is slightly failed. With that test it covers slightly the 4 corners of the iPhone pixel wise. Definitely a good screen protector. Oh I did notice one micro scratch immediately after application so faint wasn’t worth sending it back over.

AR any good?

Put this on this evening; forgot how much I appreciate a matte protector.

Interesting. How’s the fit? Does it cover the whole screen or does it bleed a bit on some edge? Does it collect dust along the edge since it doesn’t have a black border?

Actually fits really well. Subtle edge compared to Torras protector I took off. Not sure on dust yet but doesn’t appear it’ll be an issue. Installation tray thing left me with protector installed perfectly centered! Not sure how long it’ll last but so far no regrets but at price I paid I couldn’t be super mad lol

Focused on AR glass and narrowed it down to
1) Flolab 3D Nanoarmour AR -updated infinity edge
2) Torras origarmour - ? soft coating easily scratched
3) Torras Origarmour lite - not much info on this one, from what I can find seems like updated coating but no 3d edges?
4) Nillkin - not may reviews outside of their website, about 1/2 to 2/3 the cost of the others
5) WSKEN - Now have an AR version for the 17, their regular line was well reviewed previously as less expensive options.

The new TORRAS Origarmor is holding up fantastic. No scratches, crystal clear and a perfect fit with the sheath case. No 3d curve but it’s like 2.5D and doesn’t bother me like I thought it might. Highly recommended.

Which one is the new one? I am confused..
I had no idea they released a new one...

So, is this new Origarmor LITE better than the original Origarmor 3D ?

Guess I'll just order one and find out.

Guess I'll have to try the new Origarmor LITE now that the Symmetry ruined my screen protector.
should have warned you about the symmetry, the fit is awful with the non-clear versions, they have too much lip. The clear version fits screen protectors much better. I plan on getting the Origarmor Lite once my "normal" origarmor cracks. I don't care about the scratches on it, rather the screen protector than my actual screen.

If the 2.5D edges are as sharp as last years 16 Pro Max protector, they'll feel sharp and collect dust.

More than happy with the 'standard' OrigArmor. Yes, at certain angles under certain light sources I can see micro scratches. Invisible otherwise.

I cannot for the life of me get any screen protector to stay on 100%. My trusty Torras protectors I have used on my last 3 phones all fail. They all start peeling from the bottom left corner. Each one of them has been applied perfectly. Could this be a manufacturing defect in my phone?

I've tried both OrigArmor Lite and the Torras Unbreakable.

If anyone else is experiencing this and has found a fix please let me know.

Yes, it could be a defect in your phone screen. I had this happen a few years back. I paid to have a Belkin protector installed in store by Apple. They tried 3 times and none would stick on one corner. So they gave me a new phone and it stuck on the first try.

Your screen may not be perfectly flat, and there is probably some curvature in that corner preventing the two from bonding properly.

Recall the protector "halos" that came about when the iPhone 6 series appeared? Those screens had slight curvatures around their perimeters that caused that effect.

3D Flolab nano is solid. I don’t see any fitment issues, and coverage is seamless with the tech woven. Price and shipping are probably the biggest issues with this one.

AR is interesting, will take time to tell if it makes a huge difference. It seems to dull harsh fluorescent/white/led lights to more of a blueish purple hue.

Hopefully the oleophobic coating holds up. The onn (Walmart brand) coating on the 16 glass I had was very strong. After a year plus wiping the screen with IPA a few times per week, that coating is still going strong.
