Thanks everyone. This was my suspicion. May take a trip over to the Apple Store. Typically I would just forgo a protector but I now have a 3 year old. LOL

Sorry just saw those questions. You’ll find Origarmor and Origarmor Lite on Amazon. Lite is the new version. It has better scratch protection and it seems to have better anti-fingerprint coating too.

But it’s 2.5D not 3D edging. Otherwise it’s really good.

Do the edges feel sharper on the new Lite?

Just an update I installed the Namaso which Bryan? Recommended. It’s quite good. No hard edges when used without case and it shows all the camera L shapes on either side of the screen. However there’s another test which is slightly failed. With that test it covers slightly the 4 corners of the iPhone pixel wise. Definitely a good screen protector. Oh I did notice one micro scratch immediately after application so faint wasn’t worth sending it back over.

I just wanted to follow up from my previous post of the edges peeling off my screen protector. I gave this one a shot and it’s amazing. I think there’s just some sort of flaw with that Torras screen protector.

Yeah it’s definitely a decent screen protector fully edge to edge with nice flush edges.

Has anyone seen/heard/tried the Benks Galsswarrior AR 3D with anti reflective (not the sapphire coated)? Only can find one or two YouTube videos with install. The one video shows the black sides not covering the screen at all.

(Looking to replace my day 1 Torras Origarmor that is microscratched to oblivion).

Found this:

I'm currently using UltraGlass, I like it but since I use the oficial clear case, the screen border is very noticeable just like its said on the video. I just ordered the Roxx, since its 3D, its probably better.

I'm still using this roxx one, looks like day one, zero dirt on borders, it does cut a little bit on the left side, zero scratches, but I get zero scratches even without screen protectors.

Has anyone checked their Apple store lately to see if they have and are installing the belkin screen protector in either clear or privacy for the air model yet?

I know I could read it earlier in this thread that the base 17 and 17 pro have the same Display Size. But did anyone ever tried to apply the OrigArmor or the base 17?

Have been running the Flolab 3D infinity edge nano armor AR (what a name) now for the last month. The oleophobic coating is just about gone, but I do wipe the screen down with isopropyl alcohol 70% every few days. With that being said, I have not found the AR coating to be dramatically better than any other glass I have used, but maybe I don’t use the phone enough in bright light. The 3D edges are nice, but may cause issues depending on what case you use.

It’s a good screen protector, but $50 with shipping is just too much to ask, especially with the limited replacements (now apparently just 1) and another ~$10 just to ship said replacement.

I switched from the original Torras OrigArmor to the “Lite” version a week ago for my 17 Pro. My original one had tons of micro scratches that I noticed within days of using it even though I pretty careful with my phones. Nothing to really affected the normal use but was a bit annoying to have on a relatively expensive screen protector. Generally happy with that product though.

I thought I’d try out the Lite version and it has no visible micro scratches after a week but the edges are definitely a lot worse than the original, especially when swiping up from the bottom to go home or unlock the phone. AR and oleophobic coating seems to be equal, as far as I can tell.

Disappointed on the edges but I’ll hand on to this for the meantime.

Where is 'lite' version? I can't seem to find it.

I replaced my five month origarmour with a new one around ten days ago and so far, no scratches. Maybe they've improved them?

Not sure where you’re located but these are in the Amazon US store

Anyone obtain the Torras OrigArmor non-Lite version lately and still have the box that you can check something?

Based on what iFone88 said above, I’m curious if updates were made to the non-Lite version so I ordered one from Amazon. I still have my old box from Sept and it has a different identifier on it than the new one but not sure if it points to any differences in the actual product.

@iFone88 do you still have your box?

As you can see in my picture, the code next to “iPhone 17 Pro” is different. My guess is that the code below the barcode being the same means it’s the exact same product but I’m curious if others still have their boxes to check, along with sharing when and where it was purchased. Thanks

No, I dont have my box anymore.

Mine still has no scratches and I clean it a few times a day with a microfibre

What are we liking for privacy protectors? I’m using the Spigen as my first and it’s just okay. Don’t like the light bleed on the edge and the 2way not 4way.

I’m a odd duck; I’ve been using and loving these. They don’t glare or fingerprint. Used quite a while and no scratch or break. I love matte: https://a.co/d/0hRUNtLT
Ordered privacy matte yesterday to try but haven’t tried it yet: https://a.co/d/03jCFM70
