So the Air will fit in like this...(US). This *may* tip me back to the 17Air. That and the new efficiencies built into the new OS and the chipset

iPhone ModelBattery Size (mAh)
iPhone 13 Pro3095
iPhone 113110
iPhone 17 Air (rumored)3149
iPhone 14 Pro3200
iPhone 133240
iPhone 15 Pro3274
iPhone 143279
iPhone 153349
iPhone 16 Pro~3355

My 14pro day one battery is currently at 76% max capacity and this thing is a bit on the heavy side. Lighter and longer battery is definitely a plus in the right direction for me anyway.

I'm not expecting much but I just want a REAL redesign at last, better than iPhone 13 Pro battery life, top of the line display on par with Pixel 10 3300 nits, and finally some colours that aren't catered to 55 yr old men in biege chinos and polo tops.

I've waited nearly 6 years for this event, it's taken few knocks to force them to stop being lazy and greedy but as long as the $200 increase rumour is false then I'm in for a new Pro because NOTHING on these failed AI phones is worth an increase that high.

This is very promising for me. I have a 15 Pro Max and have been interested in downsizing (again) to the Pro model. Sounds like this 17 Pro will give me the same (or slightly more) battery than my 15 PM. Any universe in which I can get a smaller phone that lasts as long as a bigger phone works for me.

It's easy to increase batter life adding thickness and weight, it's something else when you want to keep the weight comfortable enough to use the device. And I think the 16 Pro is too heavy.

Okay Apple. Time to work on the Apple Watch battery now!
I think they have been, all the time. However making the iPhone thicker and heavier is much easier than with a smartwatch. You can't compare the 2 at all. How many times does the Apple Watch's volume fith the iPhone's?
