Sure but if the iPhone Air is supposed to be a step behind the Pro, you’d think the display for the Pro would then be just as large.

Not necessarily, large screen does not always equate to being more 'Pro'. The smaller Pro is basically a Pro version of the regular iPhone. If the smaller Pro had a screen larger than the Air then it would start to cannibalise the Pro Max.

I had mentioned before how I would skip the upgrade if they pulled another 12 Pro Max or 15 Pro Max and gave the better camera to the larger model only. I'm glad they didn't, so will be upgrading from 15 Pro.

If the pattern continues, the 18 Pro Max will get that cool new rumored variable aperture feature, while the 18 Pro will skip it until they "magically" find a way to fit in in the 19 Pro.

Honestly I wouldn’t be so upset about things like this. It’s the usual development meets marketing and money story.
It’s by far not worth it to buy a new phone every 1-2 years. Probably at the 3 year mark it makes somewhere sense.
It’s not the most important thing in the world.

Everything is in the cloud.

Was using 128GB until 2024 and upgraded to 256GB in 2024.

It's more than enough for me and I am a digital artist, designer, photographer, gamer, blogger, influencer, visionary, mountain guide and quality assurance manager.

Does it actually have a bigger vapour chamber ? This so called article about the differences is very low on actually listing the differences. Is the ONLY difference the size of the screen and battery ? Everything else is the same ? So internals, are interchangeable ? Vapour chamber is same size ? Speakers are same size and response ?

cloud literally means 'someone elses computer' Every time you read 'cloud' you should substitute in your mind 'someone elses computer' . With that being said, it should be obvious why some people might want 2TB of local storage, and to say 'everything is in the cloud' is ridiculous.
