like the Amazon Fire PhoneSigh…… my idea of a camera on every corner was better.
People said exactly this about the legitimate iPhone 4 prototype that was found in a bar.Do these people actually take a step back and look at these terrible renders before they post them? I doubt Apple would do something this ugly.
There would be a benefit for those that complain about the phone wobbling when set flat and those that complain FaceID doesn't see them when flat. It wouldn't wobble and have a slight tilt giving it a better angle.Plus, it would require more material and deliver no benefits whatsoever.
There are plenty of ways to give a new model a new look. Why this?If course it does. It's to:
- Encourage people to upgrade by giving the new model a unique look that will tell other people at a glance you have the latest and greatest(?) model.
- Make sure it's not compatible with existing cases, requiring you to buy a new one.
I don't want a heavier phone.Just hide the entire back behind 1 way glass and put a larger battery in it. Voila!
I remember when people doubted a rectangular iPhone 4, a slightly taller iPhone 5, a plastic iPhone 5c, two larger iPhone 6 models, the iPhone 7 and 8 having a recycled design and an ever-growing camera tumor since the iPhone 11.Do these people actually take a step back and look at these terrible renders before they post them? I doubt Apple would do something this ugly.
If (and a big if) this is real, it’s likely because the individual lenses have gotten so obscenely large, that the current square camera bump on the 6.1” Pro would take up more than 2/3rds of the back glass, and it would make more sense to just take it all the way to the edge for symmetry. There’s gotta be something missing here if this is really it. They wouldn’t make it bigger for no reason. It’s like the Dynamic Island before anyone knew about the fill, the leaks had it right in terms of hardware but it just two dots and looked odd. The software fill between made it what it is.
