Other iPhone 18 Pro Prices

Ive skipped 2 iphones since the original in 2007.

iphone 8. waited those few months for the X.

iphone 18. will wait for the 20.

Probably an extra £100 over that since storage and RAM prices have increased significantly since Sept 2025.

interestingly Apple USA doesn’t give more trade in value for iPhones with more memory. Wonder if they’ll change soon.

Since memory prices are through the roof we'll likely see a price hike again, but at the same time other component prices has steadily dropped (such as battery) through the years. But it won't compensate for other increases by far.

It would be nice if Apple could "compensate" the price increase with longer support so that devices can be repaired and receive updates so that they are secure and that way have a longer lifecycle.

My guess would be:

Pro $1399
Pro Max at least an additional $200 compared to Pro
The top most Pro Max would probably cross $2000 and still be cheaper than the base Ultra which would probably be in the $2499+ range

I think they can kiss goodbye to a significant amount of sales if they go up that much. People seem to be becoming wise to the fact you don't need to spend that sort of money to get a really capable smartphone these days and with the lower models becoming so good, I would be surprised if Apple gave the Pro a £200 price hike. That is a lot.

I agree. But I still think it will be such a significant increase. And this is line with what they’ve done across the board and also in line with the kind of increase they’ll need to do to maintain their margins in %age with the increase in raw materials.

If I’m not wrong, it would be more than £200 in UK, probably closer to £250-300.

Yeah that would massively impact sales here if it was that much of an increase, I would be not buying it on principle at that point. Don't get me wrong, I like having the Pro iPhone and am lucky enough to be able to afford it, but that would really take the mick. I paid £1199 for my 16 Pro Max and if it suddenly went up to £1449-£1499, I would be looking at the standard iPhone or looking at the previous years Pro at a discount. We don't need to pay that sort of money at this point.

I agree. But from Apple’s point of view view, they’d barely maintain their margin in %age even with this.
