iPhone 18 Pro Reportedly Won't Come in Black

To be clear I love the colour variety (but I always end up picking white because my formative Apple years were in the late 90s) but I know a lot of people are more conservative on tech colour finishes and exclusively go for black.

This is exactly what they're doing. And it started last year (with 17 Pro) so it would be less obvious.

But it has hurt my feelings...

Mine, too; and now it's starting to cause physical pain. 🤣

99% of people don't need the pro model of anything from apple for their daily use case. Apple has always convinced the 1% to get the pro and then the FOMO will take care of the rest.

I agree to an extent with this but I wouldn't say 99% of people don't need a pro phone. The telephoto on the Pro phone to me is worth the upgrade alone and I know a lot of times when I had a 13 briefly where I would've killed to have the zoom lens. Heck, one time a guy outside my apartment was jumping on top of a car repeatedly and I could only capture the footage with the grainy main camera.

When you’re spending $1500 on a phone, it matters. Plus, camera cutout is the tell-tale sign, even with a case.

Maybe AAPL has figured out that the color that attracts absolutely the most heat, even on a cool day, in just a minute or two of even being on a car mount, by a window on my desk, etc is going to make the thermal equation unnecessarily impossible to deal with.

Every iPhone should come in a black/dark grey and a white/silver in addition to whatever other colors they want to offer. Those neutral colors are always going to be popular and classic.

Black would be amazing with the current design. Miss by Apple but there is probably a reason. On the flip side, you can pay more and get the upcoming iPhone Fold which will undoubtedly come in black like the iPhone Air. 😎 I think the star color for the 17 Pros is the silver with the white glass. It's beautiful in person, doesn't show the scratches in the aluminum.I have never been a silver/white iPhone fan, but it's much nicer than my Deep Blue 17 PM.

I would want more of a jungle green but I'll take whatever green as long as it's not the stupid highlighter color of the neo.

Come to think of it thats more of a yellow but yes some sort of darker green gets my money.
