Putting lipstick on a pig doesn’t change anything for me. I understand we all like different things, so I’m not having a go at anybody here, but for my own aesthetics that is the ugliest iPhone I’ve ever seen and this year’s colours still don’t hide the fact that it’s probably gonna be made out of aluminium. It’s still probably gonna dent and scratch just as easily, because you can’t cover sharp corners with a decent amount of anodising to stop them scuffing. It’s a bad design in my eyes.

Also iOS 26 and macOS 26 are jelly and elastic hellholes. Precision used to be moving a slider in Pixelmator Pro and not it acting like it’s a cross between jelly and a bungee cord. Also, providing toggles in iOS to control glass seems to suggest that they know it’s not ideal. Things just don’t need changing for the sake of it, and yeah, I used to prefer the days when, like with Leopard and Snow Leopard, your operating system took two years before the next one so all the bugs got really ironed out and yeah, you paid for the upgrade, but that also felt like maybe you were getting something better. And now iOS 26 isn’t getting the updates that were promised. It’s iOS 27 and I refuse to buy new hardware for something they promised me in 2025.

The quality of iOS 26 and macOS 26 is not great. Don’t get me wrong, I like my M4 Studio, I like my XDR monitor, it really does what I need for the workflow, but it shouldn’t have to cost £3000 for a monitor to completely tie into the Apple operating system and its niche little functions. And then you’ve got subscription models on top of everything else, as if Apple don’t make enough money out of people already. It just feels like an insult and when people say “oh I want the latest and greatest”, except I don’t think that really applies anymore.

The latest might not be the greatest because you’ve got new chips that are very young technology with bugs and issues with holding onto Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or cellular. It feels like instead of having mature components from other companies Apple’s made their own ones because they can make more money and control everything even more, but they controlled everything just fine before. They’re just penny-pinching, so maybe the older phones and computers were the latest and greatest and the new ones are the latest and most immature now. Apple just leaves me with a bad taste these days, I guess. We all like different things and I do understand that, so this is just my point of view and not an attack on anybody wanting any of the latest gear.

Nice colours, but I am still happy with my cosmic orange, Apple will really need to make a epic design upgrade for the XX iPhone.

Otherwise i will be celebrating another 5 year anniversary with my iPhone 17 pro max.

Ugliest colors I've ever seen in a phone launch/leak. Where is the red? Bring back the promised red. We don't want an ugly dull purple imposter.

Was hoping for a return of Deep Purple. Though the color code for the Dark Cherry sure looks purple-ish to me. Will have to see it in person. The old Product Red color from the iPhone 8 would be welcome as well.

How accurate are the rumors of colors this far out from the actual release of the phones?

I never really understand phone colours. I see one outside of a case once a year or so.
I wanted a black phone but they didn't have it. So I got the blue phone and put it into a black Ridge case.

I agree though. Color doesn't really matter much to me. Even if it is a color I really like, it's going into a black case, so 🤷.

Approve of all. If true they have awesome colors for this next device. The orange is butt ugly, the dark blue has been around for a few iphones in a row so the change to gray and light blue wirh silver and burgandy is a great change for colorways.

I always get clear cases so I can see my iPhone, but none of these appeal to me at all. I loved the orange of the 17 Pro and was hoping it would maybe carry over to this iteration (I'm still on a 15 Pro Max Titanium), but this may be the first iPhone where I just get whatever's available and spend more time and money on a case. If the baby blue was deeper or the burgundy was more purple...I would maybe consider them.
If you want purple, maybe suggest to Apple, that it use Pantone’s Love Symbol #2, which is Pantone’s tribute to Prince. I’d buy it! The phone, if it were in this beautiful purple colour, is what I mean.

Would love for that wine to be either more purple or more red.
The earlier mockups made me want to upgrade but not this conservative “pro” colour.

What happened to the previous iPhone 18 Pro rumoured colours reported here?

If the Sierra Blue style colour is true, I'd be willing to upgrade from my 13 Pro Max.

I can’t get excited for any aluminum iPhone. Sorry. The 17 pro max feels so cheap, it looks less like a $2000 flagship phone and more like Aliexpress audio equipment. Count me in for the return to glass with the iPhone XX
Yeah the plexiglass will definitely feel more solid and premium than Aluminium ^^

To be honest I am more interested in the new colors for the Air, if, indeed, they have new colors. The 17 Pro series, and presumably according to the rumors the new 18 Pro series, are amazingly ugly phones. The aesthetically pleasing model in the range, the Air series, is the one to watch out for. Give me two cameras and the Air is mine next time around.

I'd go for the blue.

I think the Deep Blue 17PM is the best colour this year.

I'm over sticking to silver, for everything.
My 15 pro is blue so yes I agree
Well blue is my favorite color so I'm biased. But the best blue loooking iPhone - imo - was the blue XR

The silver 17 Pror is nice too

The orange tough.... hell no

The blue is ugly. I’d call dark cherry plum. I like it but it’s not for me. I’d like a blue-green version of that. Dark and saturated

Not sure why they keep going for that ugly powder blue. It’s not appealing

The dark cherry, if true, was not the shade I was expecting. This is too dark. Want to have bright yet colorful shades like the Orange 17 Pro or colors like iMac. Out of these four, I like the blue one. Overall not happy.
I completely disagree with you. I like the darkness of the cherry but wouldn’t go for purple. I’d like something that dark for the blue
