I wasn't complaining, so odd that you are complaining about me. I was asking if Apple was going to bother mentioning such an unimpressive feature in a keynote. It's fine that it is smaller, but it is not worth anything more than a small section in the bento box slide.

Actually I wasn't complaining about you at all, in fact, I didn't even make mention of you. I was simply sharing an observation about the board.

Sad to see the MacPro gone. That machine from the original grater cheese to the last was incredible pieces of art and amazing expandability for pros. But what breaks my heart is the Pro XDR display being discontinued. The 27" options are just too small. I'm hopeful there is a V2 coming when Apple updates the Studio computers.

I’m not falling for this again! I got the iPhone 13 with a smaller notch, only to have it be replaced by dynamic island a year later. The smaller dynamic island seems like a transition option to something more significant, just like the smaller notch was. I’m fine waiting until they release the removal of the dynamic island set up or move to something new.

Do the people sarcastically decrying perfectly good iterative improvements think they’re being edgy or original? It’s not either; it’s just tedious.

It was obvious when the notch appeared on the iPhone X that Apple would spend the next years iterating to the point where there was no notch, and then no cut out at all. This is another welcome step on that road.

To this day, other manufacturers still can’t match the speed and convenience of FaceID. That was the innovation.

Face ID is amazing. I will always prefer it above Touch ID. It’s clean and simple.

Definitely smaller. But not having any issues with the current dynamic island. This is a step in the right direction towards the all screen iPhone which will probably arrive for the 20th anniversary.

New images of an alleged iPhone 18 Pro prototype and screen protectors have emerged from multiple sources, adding weight to earlier reports that Apple plans to significantly shrink the Dynamic Island later this year.

The Dynamic Island will be the same size, even if they did reduce the size of the cutouts.

Looks decent, I guess. I suspect Apple will stick with the current design until they can successfully implement an under-display selfie camera. They likely want to avoid having the iPhone look like just another Android device with a standard punch-hole camera.
