Here's a bug for you: The 2.2 firmware makes it take FOREVER for the backup. This is ridiculous. They had it right in 2.1, then ****ed it up in 2.2.

Take you pick, would you rather a backup that takes a while or an unstable Safari app along with the rest of the OS being a lot less snappier than before 2.2.
Not in my case, they both were still the same on 2.1 and 2.2 during back up process. And I haven't added any large capacity stuff on my iPhone.
All I really want is for the iPhone to have the simplest features as listed above like copy paste, wide email etc... and that it'd come out on all services not just ATT- I really wish to move to vzw i don't get service anywhere (less bars in more places) and that vzw won't charge me $48 a month for unlimited data usage- seriosuly that is insane.
I've completely given up on wanting these features. I guess Apple will include them when their damn good and ready and that corporate atittude really blows. I mean, we're practically begging for scraps here. What I really would like to see is a more responsive and lighter weight OS just like Snow Leopard promises to be. Anything else is bonus really.

icons at the bottom of the iPod icon? If you're talking about the dock that's been modifiable ever since you could move icons around.
Not the dock. Go into the orange ipod icon, click on more on the lower right, then click on edit on the upper left. You can now move the icons around as to what's on the bottom of the ipod "app".
