volume automatically turns down

Hi. I don't know if this qualifies as a bug but...the ringer volume on my 3g 8g iPhone will randomly go to silent. I read a post on the apple support site from another user here.. Anybody else have this issue or know of a fix?

Thanks
Brian

Dont bash if this has been completely figured out already...BUT, I JUST noticed that if you DOUBLE click the home button from the locked screen, the iPod controls will come up.

Is this new?

Not new :p

This could be found under Settings - General - Home Button
then select out of the three whatever you want the double click to do.

Hmm - weird. I knew about that setting and I have mine selected to "Phone Favorites."

However, when I am on the lock screen - double clicking the Home button toggles the iPod controls. Check it out...

I've been doing that since 2.1 firmware, so it might be pre 2.1 or just 2.1

I'm not sure if this is new or not, but I have never noticed it. Now when I get a text and I dont answer it right away, my phone will vibrate or ring to remind me every five minutes or so.

I think I may have figured out a new feature?

In SMS, if your in a conversation and you hit the clock (in the bar at the top) it scrolls up all the way to the top of the messages.

lol. sorry if this was in previous firmwares, because I never noticed it in 1.1.4, 2.0 or 2.1

This is standard in all applications, tapping on the clock at the top will scroll the content to the top in any list or content based application.

I am doing a restore of my iphone and I noticed it has a status bar on the phone showing how far along the process is... was this always there because I swear I don't remember seeing it before.

Iv noticed that when you have Boss prefs enable the numeric battery(%), you can tap the battery icon and it will change back and forth from numeric to normal.

Not sure if this was in previous software or if it has already been mentioned, but i just noticed that when the iPhone is asleep and you double-tap the home button (as you normally would to get to iPod), it brings up the unlock screen with iPod controls at the top.

Also if you press the unlock button and double-tap the home button while on unlock screen it happens too.

(1st pic is what im talking about, 2nd just to compare)

I don't think this has been shown. This showed up yesterday to me for the first time.

Here's the link to the photo.

Hmm interesting....all i get is "error sending message" - no "try again" or any of the other text:

PS hcoteen2008, use the IMG Code (at the bottom of the 'Image Link Code' list on Photobucket), not the Share URL. :D

That "Try Again" only happens when you're sending to multiple, people I believe.

take a look at that pic again then spaz ;)

It actually happens when the message does manage to get sent to a few of your contacts, but not all. What isn't helpful is that it doesnt say which ones.

The reason you got the standard one mickbab is because you have no service, and it error'ed to all recipients rather than just a few after successfully sending to one.

Hope that makes sense, and I think it's been around since 1.1.4 at least, thats when I noticed it first.

Though "Try Again" sends to those it initially had a problem sending. So why would one need to know which ones it had a problem with only seconds prior? Are you analyzing data?

This has happened to me at least once. I tapped "Try Again" and it performed as it suggested it would. It sent the problem messages.

Am I missing something?
