I will be new to ATT, are rollover minutes universal to all their plans or are there just rollover specific plans? were they applicable to the old plan and will they be for the new plan?
Wait, my family has unlimited texting in the family plan, I don't have to pay seperately for my own unlimited texting correct?
No, you're reading it very wrong. The "minimum of $70" INCLUDES the $30 for data and $40 for the 450 minute plan. It was just breaking down the pricing of that $70, not saying you need to pay the $70 and THEN those things.
If I can't buy data only, I don't understand why they'd split the two services up... just to piss me off, I guess.Soo, again.... Does the breaking down of voice & data plans mean that I can buy data only now??

Soo.... Since the voice & data plans are separate now, does that mean I can buy data only?? I'm not interested in a $40/mo voice plan, and that still doesn't even cover texting.
I'm a happy SERO customer with Sprint. No activation fee bull that you ATT fools are subject to, unlimited data, unlimited texts, N&W starting at 7, free Sprint to Sprint, etc.... for $30/mo!!! That's the price of your data service alone!! Only bummer is that they don't do family plans (but 4 people with all that goodness is still only $120/mo, try adding that up with another family plan), and I'm pretty sure that they don't offer insurance (doesn't bother me as I insure my cell phone & laptop in a Personal Articles Policy (PAP) with State Farm).
Sorry for thread-jacking, just trying to spread the good word.
HEHE.... good one. Thanks for the advice; I just might be able to pull this one off. ;^)You are eligible for data only if you are deaf or dumb. You may qualify. AT&T has a disability form you can fill out.
Well, SERO is pretty public. All ya gotta do is go inside a Sprint store and get a business card, or search Google. It's pretty public. How are you going to compare public rate plans with rates available through employee referrals? The minimum Sprint data plan for the public is $69.99/month - it's only comparatively cheaper if you're going to pay AT&T for SMS, otherwise both are 450 minutes and unlimited data for $69.99.
Who is this service with? Verizon?I get high-speed internet, home phone and every cable channel including premiums for $35 per month because of my employer, that doesn't mean I can go on forums claiming that every other broadband/phone/video provider's rates suck. My monthly bill is $100 less per month; I'm just spreading the good word!
To note that you can add the $30 data plan onto any plan you already have.
You won't be able to get data alone.
