iPhone 3G restoring gone..WRONG!

All this time has gone by and you haven't at least bought a new USB "cord" (it's cord not chord) that you can return if that's not the problem. Don't bump threads.

nope I haven't..I haven't had the money..but thats college for ya.
but if its like what everyone says..chances are its a driver thing.
In that case I need to know what to do to fix it.

Okay..I am thinking about doing a system restore..and just restore my entire laptop..

question..do you think iTunes will save all my music? and apps...how can I restore the computer without losing the info. Remember I can't sync my iPhone because Windows does not recognize it.

SOLUTION!!!

Bought a new Apple Dock Connector to USB Cable.
and it installed the new hardware! the device is found and iTunes found it as well!!!

I am kind of scared to restore to backup..so I am going to hold off on that for now.

pretty happy that this problem is fixed!

ohh and props to Walmart..they have it there for 18.88 lol
