iPhone 3rd Gen 2009: Mock Up With Front Cam

Here is a really bad mockup that I made in little time. Please don't nitpick about the details, because I am starting out with Photoshop. Anyway, this is a combination of the Toshiba TG01 body and iPhone 3G OS. Coincidentally, the TG01 has a earpiece speaker similar to the rumored iPhone that is (sort of) built into the bezel. I would really appreciate any feedback, as it will help me improve my Photoshop skills. Obviously, the color around the "screen" doesn't match up at all. I can't do a brush job neat enough to make it look realistic. How do you select just one color range in Photoshop? I tried that option in the Select menu but it just selected random stuff everywhere that matched that color, which didn't help.
Here is the .psd version if anyone wants to hopefully fix it up. Thanks a lot in advance!
EDIT: I just realized how terrible this really is! I'll try to fix it up now if I can.
EDIT2: I fixed it somewhat. This is the new version. The shadow in the upper right of the screen got messed up though. I'll try to fix it.

I really like it! Now, just change the picture of the screen to 3.0 and it'll be perfect!
YAFBTADEF (yet another fan boy thinking that apple designs everything first)....the phone I gave up for the iphone had a "chrome" bezel - it was an SE k790. It's not exactly the same, but close enough so that you can't say the iphone bezel is unique. I'm not really a phone aficionado, so I don't know if there are other phones that are more similar in design, but I'm willing to be there are.
The iphone has alot of unique features, so it baffles me that someone would talk about the chrome bezel like it's the phone's killer feature and that everyone is copying it in order to stay relevant.
In any case, k790 was awesome and to this day I recommend SE phones to people who don't like the iPhone. The k790 kicked ass, it had a 3.2mp camera w/ flash...it was very painfully having to give it up....

I'm going to just jump on the bandwagon and agree with these guys.
Awesome mockup I want one.......but screw you for filling my head w/ high expectations that will most certainly be destroyed next Monday.
Btw...I ate at John's pizzeria last week. Not worth the wait.

I'll spend the next 5 days trying to wipe this image from my memory and try not to expect to much.
I love the design as well. It's the best yet and looks to take care of everything I want.
The only part Im wondering about is the top (ear) speaker. It almost looks like the glass is just cut away in that area. In other words no bezel frame, just a glass edge. Not that glass couldn't be rounded smooth, but wouldn't that lead to more cracked glass.

Agreed it really is a beautiful design, and I truly wish that is the new iPhone although I'm not hopeful.

I do like this design!
I think the actual phone will be thicker :-( , and I'd be surprised if they changed the aspect ratio of the display.
But that is very nice.

I agree with all of u who are sayin bout puttin our expectations too high, but well, we love Apple for a reason (or two ) so i don't think they are gonna let us down tooo much, they have the right to let us down just for a bit! (like 5 minutes or so from the Keynote)...

The artist created the 3D-model with Rhinoceros and it was rendered by Cinema 4D.

i wish i didn't see this mock up. i'm pretty confident i'll be very disappointed with whatever "revisions" apple does to the iphone from here on out.
