Meanwhile, iLounge has noted that the iPhone 4 supports 3G HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access) for its uplink. iLounge cites a theoretical maximum of 5.76 Mbits/second. Meanwhile, the iPhone 3GS is limited to only 384kbps. Any faster uplink speeds will obviously help out in emailing high definition video clips over 3G networks.
im sure im going to get a reply about how its "more complicated than that" but
the end numbers of "...029" dont match with any in that diagram.
now at&ts early upgrade eligibility/ early termination fee increase is making sense...
If you would compare the architecture of both, while slightly different and with slightly different numbers, I think you can reasonably ASSUME that the HSUPA chipset in the 3G/3GS is similar to what we're seeing here. A CDMA set would require something additional and is not shown, just the Skyworks GSM chipset.
exactly!
I'm as much of a free marketer as you'll find, but even I would never trust a company to be "generous".

But what the heck is the mysterious Triquint TQM676091 chip for? A custom chip made for Apple? And, if so, what's so secretive about it (or other chips) that caused Apple to ask the FCC to withhold disclosure for 45 days?

Oooo. They have changed the listing. Now just reads
Clearly they finally spotted their error.
this is what I'm saying the evidence indicates more than one carrier in the US
they arent even listing the chips that are there now
