My concern would be the possible interference with the metal band, I wonder how worse or better the phones overall reception would be

they also have them in White, Gold, Orange, dark blue & light blue....pretty cool. Bookmarked in case I shatter my back but hopefully I won't

That site was very poorly written.

The first line...

No worry about that your iPhone 4G battery cover will broken again, because this Battery Cover is made of Aluminum,it won't broken even if it fell on the floor..

Can you link me please dude? I cant seem to bring up the list where they have all the colours

Looks like an aluminum skin/sticker over plastic. Screwtabs are still plastic.

I knew there'd be replacement backcovers when one of the teardowns showed that it's relatively easy to change the backcover.

Anyway, wasn't the metal cover from the first-gen iPhone dropped, because it hindered the phone signal?

Subscribing to this thread. Never knew about these. Kind of interested.

The first iPhone had an internal antenna. Since the iPhone 4's antenna is around the outside edge of the device, you can change the front and back plates to your heart's content.

The metallic red looks very nice.

About the antenna, as long as there is plastic or another material to insulate this metallic back from the sides (antenna), the reception should be the same I think.

Okay I have to admit, I thought it was a bad idea until I saw these:

Lime green is my weakness. I wonder which one would best match my car...

Number 3 is JUST the glass, not the full housing. Don't get that one.

Lime green is my weakness too.

Thanks for the tip; it was too apple green anyway, really. I just wish there was a way to see these in person first.

If anybody here gets one will you post some photos of it. all the ones on these sites are really low resolution and I want to see how the camera lens cover and flash diffusor look and if they're included. If they're included then none of these are any good. Good finds though everybody. I'll be checking on this thread more often.
