People, People! you need to realize how many people are trying to get in on this all at once, thousands maybe millions. Just give it a break and come back again in a couple hours or a day at most, it will still be there... ;)
 
Mine crapped out too but i was able to preorder one at full price with no deposit. Once i get to the store they can process my upgrade to make it 199 for the 16.

I'm pissed as Apple will only ship to the AT&T billing address...

Apple have you ever heard of a company phone? Have you ever thought, in all your arrogant ways, that an employee of a BIG company might not pay their only phone bill and thus the billing address is in a different State? Has it ever crossed your mind that this causes HUGE problems?

I don't want to go to your store.. your stores suck as I need to stand in line with a bunch of annoying fanboys who have nothing better to do that stand in line for a phone. I have work to do... but i guess you don't care...

This is it.. I'm sick of this crap... I bought this phone and I'm done.. next phone is a Google Phone...

with the demand, I think people want to make sure they get one on the launch day and they are tired of the ridiculous lines at Apple and ATT stores.

Been staring at: "Please wait while we access your AT&T account information." On 3 different computers for ~10min now.. Maybe I'll cancel and retry on one computer and let the other two try to work their way through the massive requests. AT&T just finding ONE more way to piss me off.

Seriously upset about the white not being available. I love the white, had the white. Got mugged. Bought a black to save cash. Now I want a white again but have to settle b/c Apple screwed up big time. Oh well, I'm just gonna wait till the white one finally hits stores and go into an Apple store and demandthey give me a white iPhone for my black, and I seriously won't leave until I'm in cuffs. Way to go apple. :rolleyes:
 
are you guys still having problems? mine went through, but if u don't pay attention, it'll time out... so just keep watching and when it verifies, you'll be good!

already got a confirmation email from apple

i preordered for all lines on my family plan successfully, though, i'll probably give it up for the WHITE!!! grr
 
Just got an email Order Acknowledgement from apple saying that the iphone 4 16gb was 0.00 dollars. Do you think this is because it was a pre-order and I'll be charged later? Or, maybe I just got a very special discount.

I get your point (though I doubt "millions") but AT&T had to know this was coming. iPhone users may be rabid, but we are predictable. We want our new sh*t right away.

I got the same email. The tax showed in the subtotal though, same for you?
 
Meh, I'm going to bed. I wanted the white iPhone, but was willing to get the black one. But I've tried to order it like 10 times and it's still failing. Whatever, I guess I'll just wait for the white one.
 
This is the worst service ever. A company like Apple should have been expecting traffic like this.

I did see that there was a tethering option on the data plan though...

I agree... this is pretty bad. But I actually think it's ATT's fault. Apple is trying to connect into their servers to verify eligibility, but they are timing out.
