I think my eyes are too spoiled from Retina display. Once you go Retina you can't go back. Even my iPad screen looks outdated now.
The thing is that I bought my 3GS in June (this year). Yeah, I knew the iPhone 4 was coming somewhere mid June, and I was 100% sure it will have a better screen. But the 3GS was only 100$ for the 16GB model.
OMG guysYou make my want my iPhone 4 so bad. But damn I can't wait for 2 years!

Thank god I don't have to watch that on a retina display.
The screen, in my opinion, is the #1 reason to have an iPhone 4 over a different generation.

But the 3GS was only 100$ for the 16GB model. So I said, "hell yeah, I'm gonna buy this one for the speed and camera". I gave my old iPhone 3G away. The 3GS is 1000x times better than the 3G. But hey... the iPhone 4 is 1000x times better than 3GS.
So, my question is: can I exchange or buy the iPhone 4 on my existing contract or do I have to make another contract? Cause I'm not willing to pay 200+ on the iPhone 4 + 30 each month for 2 years straight.
I agree.I had a 3GS and had it just been the new retina screen, there is no way I would have upgraded. Sure its nice, but it really isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be. That's how I feel anyway.
I agree.
While the retina display is stunning, the true test is a side by side comparison with another high quality display. When compared to the Super Amoled of my Samsung Galaxy S, Captivate, the difference is much smaller. Apple's retina has a slight edge by virtue of it's higher resolution, yet in this real world test, these two are both terrific.
