Iphone 4 Jailbreak Will Be Done On Your Iphone!

There's no telling if Apple will go straight to iPhone 5 next year. They may throw some other small item into the case or have a new style of processor & just call it iPhone 4 S. Maybe AT&T would have an operational 4G data network (I'm not holding my breath) & name next year's model 4G. I understand what you meant & I'm sure everyone else did also. I'll probably refer to next year's iPhone like others do; 2011 iPhone.
 
I'm not sure a jailbreak from the handset is a good idea. It defeats the point of being able to have a jailbroken phone without activating it legitimately first. I'd prefer a jailbreak like Spirit. Plug phone, click a button, done.

Finished writing what should hopefully be the "production" payload for the unlock. Now it just needs a loader and a userland app.

Spirit doesn't hacktivate either and isn't the preferred type of JB.
 
I think we'll see an iPhone 4 jailbreak in a month or so. Maybe around August 15th.
 
My prediction is that the new JB tools will come out after 4.1 comes out. I think they want to save themselves the headache of reprogramming again.

Or they may release the JB halfway between the 4.0.1 release and 4.1, much like they did for Spirit.

To be honest, no one really knows. Not even the devs.
 
No one knows anything about it. Anyone who pretends to know how it will be implemented, or on what date is talking out of their ass.
 
That would be epic if the team had come back around to the early years and offered untethered and Safari vulnerability!

It's called taking a guess. You know how people stared down their iPhone tracking trying to guess when their iPhone would arrive. Smh. At least I didn't say, "My sources tell me it'll be released on August 15. Confirmed."
 
Still say Musclenerd is simply saying the Jailbreak won't be ready while the guy is on Vacation. So no need for a computer enjoy. Even Comex went of Vacation with out a Computer.. people trying to read in to deep.. if Musclenerd complained he ate Refried beans and had gas.. Somebody would say Jailbreak is coming out of Mexico... :rolleyes: but what ever Maybe I'll be wrong but I don't see it!!!!

I think you know this, but it wasn't clear from reading what you wrote - but comex is off of vacation - he was on vacation and now he's not.

I personally feel weird even guessing when it will come out, so Ill just refrain

yeah I know he is back I was just trying to say the Dev-team might not take computers on Vacation so it not far off that they might tell others not to take theirs. I just trying to say people go over kill trying to read into there tweets..

Yeah right! I can say, we will get JB + Unlock for iPhone4....... eventually, but for sure we will get it lets say before Jan 01, 2021 :)

Seriously, guessing is good, but it is far from reality. And reality is that would the JB + Unlock be commercial product we could expect some dates to be announced, .. but since it is NON COMMERCIAL product (just some morons trying to make money on it) we should just wait. And of course ones it is out it will spread EVERYWHERE across the net in a minutes. You won’t miss it, even if you want to :)

By the way I was always trying to answer one question to myself: Why only guys from Dev Team are working on the JB, Unlock solutions for iPhone. What I am trying to say is that I am sure that guys from Dev Team are smart enough to do all this stuff and they really succeed BUT I cannot believe that no one else across the planet did not ever try to hack this device ? Just interesting because as more interesting JB solutions we have as more choice we do have. Personally me always stacked with DevTeam solutions but do not mind to try any other one if it exists.

I don't think they are the only people working on it - I do think they are the most organized.

He would've said something along the lines of " No need to bring your computer, just be ready when you get back" or "neither, won't be finished". He said "neither will be needed :) " with a smiley face. Of course you can say I'm looking too far into it, but there wouldn't be ANY point of a smiley face if he wasn't 'hinting' at something lol. Musclenerd is usually straight forward, and you know they don't give status updates on ETA's. If he believed the guy was asking about release date, he wouldn't have even answered.

And I also think that most other people who start working on it are happy to share their ideas with the Dev-Team, and they usually end up members. Look at Comex: discovered his exploit and worked relatively independently, but under the umbrella of the Dev-Team (of which he is now a member).

you have a fair point time will tell.. I think we can all agree we just like the jailbreak. dev-team is usually very professional in producing quality JB/UL just have to see what it is when they release it!
