iPhone 4 Orders Being 'Prepared for Shipment'

They did the Ipad's like this if I remember right, lucky enough to get our 3G Ipads on launch which was pretty cool. Decided to order a pair of 27 inch Imac's today, however they said 3 days shipping, apparently if it's custom configured it takes longer. I believe however these ship from the U.S. so i will probably get those this week too.

mine shipped too got an e mail with tracking from Apple 12.48AM
ordered on June 15 4.41PDT
will get it on june 24
 
I am thoroughly convinced that people who quote delivery times on Standard Time who actually live in areas where Daylight Saving Time is currently observed will not see their iPhones delivered on time.

That appears to be over half of MacRumors commenters.

Apple sent me an e mail at around 1:30 am Today (Tuesday) saying that although Fed Ex shipping site says expected delivery on June 24th that my iPhone 4 will be delivered June 23rd. Anyone else get this e mail? Hmmm....

Yep I got one saying the same thing. I'm working tomorrow so I gotta fill out the presign form.
 
Mine has been "Prepared for Shipment" for like 3 days with a delivery arrival date of the 24th...
I have a feeling I won't be seeing it until next week.. ARG
 
My order still says not yet shipped, and I ordered at 8 PM PDT on the 15th. I just got off the phone and they said to go by the Ships time.

So my order says:

Ships: Delivers on June 24
Delivers: Jul 6 - 8

He sounded pretty confident that I will get it on the 24th. I also never got an tracking number.
 
Ordered 2 phones on 2 separate orders, the second one ordered shipped on the 20th, delivery on the 24th, and I just got an email saying it'll be delivered on the 23rd. The second phone, which was ordered 5 minutes earlier, still says "prepared for shipping". :confused:

Called in, and they said they're working on getting me the phone on the 24th (but it hasn't shipped yet). huh ??

I pre-ordered my phone june 17th 6am with apple. On july 2 my status finally moved to prepared for shipment, june 3 it went back to not yet shipped and now june 6th it changed back to prepared for shipment but that lasted for about 4 hours - going back to not yet shipped.
I finally decide to call apple to check my status and they said my order is on hold because At&t is having a problem setting up my account and once it is cleared up they will ship the phone out within 24 hours. My issue is NO ONE contacted me, email, nothing from apple nothing from at&t letting me know that there was an issue, if I didn't call I still would be sitting here looking clueless waiting for my status to move to shipped. It's not like Apple didn't take my money, the fund have been cleared, why couldn't I haven been notified, Im thinking my phone could have been shipped out on july 3rd or 4th. Apple lost some cool points for that.

Should have just stayed with Android.
