I just got the same message.

Where are you guys / what iPhone are you preordering? It would help to estimate times.

I am reserved starting 7/1 at Cambridgeside and Boylston, 7/3 at Burlington in Mass for the 16GB

6/28 6pm
Boylston, Boston MA
32gig

Just got the "you're moving up on the priority list" email. I reserved my 16gb on June 27th at the Menlo Park store in NJ.

Just got the "moving up the list" email from Apple as well.

So far it's only been six days for me. I know others have been waiting much longer, but it seems ridiculous that no one can keep these in stock.

I'd love to hear timelines from anyone who got on the reservation list at the Green Hills store in Nashville and picked theirs up already.

Just got the same message

I reserved mine June 26th @ the Shadyside Store in Pittsburgh, 16GB

I also reserved a 16GB on the 26th from Shadyside. I'm not sure if this helps, but I called yesterday and they told me I'd get a pick up email either today, Friday or Monday. I'm guessing you're somewhere close in the line since we both reserved the same model on the same day.

Oddly enough, I didn't get a "you're moving up in the priority list" email. I don't really care at this point because there will be no way for me to get my iPhone when it does finally come in, since I'm working all day tomorrow and leaving town for a week on Saturday. I'll probably be ordering through AT&T Premier instead; I'm shocked that the Apple Store has taken this long (day 12.)

Been on the list for Chicago's North Michigan Avenue store since Tuesday, June 29. Haven't gotten any emails besides the first one. Do you think it's a bad sign if I haven't gotten the latest mass email?

I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas without a calendar.

OK, that scares me a bit.

2 days before me, 32G model (that looks to be better availability) and still no email.

Yeah sucks considering there was a post on the last page, a guy ordered two at Chestnut Hill on the 30th and already got them.

There's always tomorrow...

Got on the list in Houston, TX (Houston Galleria) on July 2nd and got the "moving up the list" email today. I don't think it means anything, though.

I wonder if they are just trying to clean the list since it has the link to cancel the reservation. Possibly trying to get a more accurate count of where phones need to go.

Anyone on the priority list for any of the following stores in the Washington, DC area: Bethesda Row, Montgomery Mall, Clarendon, Georgetown, Pentagon City and received their pick up email?

I've been on all the lists since June 30 and I haven't heard anything yet :(

I signed up July 5th for Clarendon and Pentagon City. Didn't even receive a first email.

Same store, same day, same lack of emails here.

Put on list around 12noon PST at the Valley Fair (CA) store today.

Will come back once I get the phone.

i really hope they have these before the 30 days is up...i sold my 3g....

although im having second thoughts about this whole reception problem also..
cant even hold the phone in landscape without it losing signal...

I did not get the moving up email. I have been on the Roseville, CA list since the 25th.

Not sure what it means to not get the moving up email, I guess it could be good or bad.

I didn't get one for the one I ordered on the 25th, just got one I ordered for my sone on the 5th. I'm just hoping that means I'll be getting the other email soon for the one I ordered on the 25th.

wow briview. i signed up at the grove on the 30th hoping to receive a response but nothing yet... if you did it on the 23rd i wonder how long that list is!

are you going to use all 3 reservations? if you can spare one PM me! :D

I already have mine, as indicated in my signature, but the 3 reservations are for: #1 & #2 - my parents and #3 - my significant other. If at anytime they choose to discontinue their requests for the iP4 (and some family FaceTime), then I will gladly let you know and PM you. :)

Chetoc, It's probably a VERY LONG list, but judging by how things have been lately with the way some of my colleagues have updated me, I wouldn't be surprised if you may end up getting one before me, so don't worry. I've called several times, and I'm still on the list (as confirmed by Apple Store employees) but some of my friends who have signed up on the list 3 or 4 days after me got their iP4s already, which is something that reeeaaaallly seems to make me ponder about what's going on...

Yeah, I got that "Moving up the Priority List" email too, but then again... seems like everyone got one.

Talked to an  rep today and she said that people on the 32gb waiting list are getting them ALOT faster than folks on the 16gb waiting list. Demand is way higher for the $100 cheaper 16gb. So I switched my order to the 32gb in hopes I'll get it within a week. Good luck to the 16gb people though.

I'm on the list at the Houston Galleria store too

I got on the list for the same store on July 2nd too (for two 16gb) so it would be great if you could come back and let us know if you hear any more news.

I've called the store to see if they have any estimate at all about the wait time or length of the list but they're acting like I'm asking for national security secrets

I haven't gotten the "moving up the list" email BTW.

I just received the same "moving up the priority list" email from the Los Cerritos store in SoCal. Just curious if anyone else received the same email before receiving their IP4 and if so, roughly how long it took after that to receive their IP4. Btw, I placed myself on the list on 6/28 and after talking to an employee a few days ago I was told I had 500 people ahead of me on the list as well.
