anyone on the list for 3rd Street Promenade or Cerritos? I got on the list 07/01 and have not heard a thing. I'm getting so impatient that I might even get the Evo!

yeah i said it!

I just received the same "moving up the priority list" email from the Los Cerritos store in SoCal. Just curious if anyone else received the same email before receiving their IP4 and if so, roughly how long it took after that to receive their IP4. Btw, I placed myself on the list on 6/28 and after talking to an employee a few days ago I was told I had 500 people ahead of me on the list as well.

just saw your post. that blows! manhattan village is just out of the question and i can never get a hold of anyone in costa mesa.

Have you seen my post? It's pretty crazy out there.

Signed up on the 23rd (one day prior to release) at Apple Store Century City, The Grove, and Third Street Promenade (all West LA stores). Still waiting...

... patience is the key, but seriously... anytime now. I mean, come on... day 15!

i got the "moving up the list" email today as well, way to cocktease me, apple! i put in for a 16gb, which is apparently SUPER high in demand and hence why it's taking so long. i put in on june 28th, still waiting. i might put in for a 32gb at another apple store and see what happens.

Hah yes it does. When I called, the apple store employee I talked to told me that there's a good chance I could get one by next week but I'm just hoping that I may get an email by Saturday still since I will be out of town all next week which means I won't be able to pick it up if I do get the email. I understand the whole privacy issue and all about having others pick up your phone for you but it severely limits my ability to get one since I work for an airline and travel for a living.

Anyways with that said I went ahead and placed an order online just in case I'm not able to pick it up in store and have a current ship date of July 27 supposedly.

Summit Store - Birmingham, AL

Got on the list last Tuesday -- got my email today. 9 days of waiting.

Im on the list at cerritos too, 16GB, got on the list on 6/25. Everytime I call the store they wont tell me anything about where I am on the list. Are you on the list for the 16 or 32GB?

I also work for an airline, so i know what you mean by being out of town at inopportune times, its as though crew scheduling knows....

Wow, 500 people? These lists get any longer they may have to cap them. That would really suck.

Happy customer: "I'd like to buy an iPhone."
Apple employee: "Sorry. You can't."

I was in my local Walmart today in the electronics department and a woman wandered up to the cell phone kiosk and asked "hey do you have one of those new iPhone 4's by any chance"? The lady behind the counter looked down and said "as a matter of fact we have one left from today's shipment, would you like it"? 3 minutes later she walked out of the store with it.

I am glad I picked up mine from the Apple store yesterday because if I had not there would have been a throw-down in the middle of the Walmart electronics department.

BTW this thing works perfectly (no signal strength/yellow screen/proximity sensor issues) and the iOS4 works flawlessly with the faster chip and beefed up RAM. You will not be disappointed in your purchase. Sorry for the wait guys.

Last night, I had a dream of getting my pick up email from apple. Even though it was a dream, I had a good feeling that I would get the email today. Then I saw that moving on up email. Got me all excited for nothing and just got me angry. So, after work today, I went to get a smog check and stopped by the best buy mobile store in the Del Amo Mall. And guess what, they have plenty of iphone 4 in stock and only 1 other person buying it. So having the feeling of relief and about end this priority madness, they check my eligibility upgrade. guess what, they don't do early upgrades at best buy mobile stores. There you have it, I am back waiting on these damn apple sore priority list. FML

Just to let you guys know, if you are eligible for an early upgrade or getting a new contract. Go to the best buy mobile store in the Del Amo mall.

Walmart only carries 16GB ones though, correct?

I'm on the list for the 32 GB. Did you get a moving up the list email as well? If not I wonder if that's because of possibly a higher demand for the 16GB. I guess I got lucky that the apple store rep gave me a number (if it's even an accurate number). He kind of sighed at first and then told me that they were expecting a shipment soon but I had 500 people ahead of me but I might get lucky and get one by next week. I kind of found that hard to believe but after receiving the moving up the list email I wonder if that might be the case.

Btw, do you work for B6?

So did they finally run out of phones? Seems like I havent seen anyone get the pickup notice since the "your moving up the list" email. Just curious.

Put my name on the list at the Boylston St Apple store 6/28 for a 32 gig. Got the email today. Headed over at lunch to pick it up.

On list since 6/27 - no phone yet (12 days)

Been on the list at three stores (5th Ave, Stamford, Ct, and Westfarms, Ct). Got the initial email on the 27th from all three stores. No followup email (ie. moving up on the list). Called Westfarms and they have no way of checking the list to confirm that I am still on it. 5th ave was able to confirm that I was on the list yesterday, but could not tell me how many people were ahead of me. Getting anxious since many people ahead of me are getting a phone.

Anyone else on any of these list and get their phone yet? Registered for 16GB.

Thanks and good luck to all!!!

Giving up on my area Apple Stores

Anyone on the priority list for any of the following stores in the Washington, DC area: Bethesda Row, Montgomery Mall, Clarendon, Georgetown, Pentagon City and received their pick up email?

I've been on all the lists since June 30 and I haven't heard anything yet :(

I randomly called a Radio Shack in the area and they had one 32 in stock. I traded in my 16 gig 3gs for $200 and walked out with a case, invisibleshield and new phone 20 minutes later.

NYC/Manhattan Priority Lists (Wait time)

Can anyone give me their range of time they waited on the Priority List of Manhattan. I put my name down a week ago, on July 3rd. I was wondering approx how long people we waiting and what store they got on the list for.

Many Thanks!

Radio Shack

Just called my local radio shack and they have one 32gb in stock. They will also give me $100 for my current 3G. Going to get it now!! Cant wait. Been on 3 "priority" lists from apple for 12 days with no luck.

PS- for those of you not getting emails, be sure to check your "spam" folders incase the emails are being redirected there.

I got my "moving up the list" email yesterday and I got another email today saying that my phone has arrived. 16GB, Greensboro, NC. Been on the list since 6/26.

i got the "thanks for patiently waiting" email for Northridge, CA...ordered on June 26th, still waiting...im on day 13 and counting now...this is ridiculous especially since people who ordered same day at pasadena and 3rd st in santa monica got theirs a few days ago. bummer. :apple:
