iPhone 4 Priority list

Also, for anyone who's been on the list, do you always get the "moving up" email before the phone arrives... or do some never receive that email?

I've been on the wait list at the Boylston store since 6/30 and the Cambridgeside Galleria store since 7/1.

I'm wondering if they even get regular shipments day-by-dayor just one big haul every week. I'm getting so annoyed at this process that I want to not buy one out of spite.

...then I think of all the other phones out there that I have no interest in and I still want an iPhone 4 lol.
 
Ive been on the list since the 26th at the shadyside store in Pittsburgh, this is becoming crazy, if i don't get an email today im goin give them a ring and see whats up. I've gotten both emails btw:(

Same, except different store. I went in one day to see if I was still on the list. The whole secrecy thing is stupid. Just tell us when we can realistically expect the phone.
 
Day 10 or 11, Im loosing count and getting irritated. Dont know whether to keep waiting or go ahead and order it online.
 
13 days and counting here in San Francisco.. I called the store and of course, the guy that answered did not give me any information as on where I stand on the list. He did say that one of his coworkers waited around 2.5 weeks to get his... i thought employees had no issues getting one! I want to order one from AT&T, but then I think about how long I have been waiting here, that I just want to see how long its going to take now! :rolleyes:

Exact same situation here: 10 days on Apple's priority list.

I am hearing some people's orders with AT&T getting shipped within 24 hours, and other people waiting a week. I don't want my funds to be tied up by an AT&T order and then have Apple email me saying my phone is in.

I think I'm giving it until Thursday, which would be two weeks on the priority list for me. If I don't get one by then through Apple or another store, I'll put in my order with AT&T.
 
im on day 16 for Northridge, CA store...this is getting ridiculous. ive already received both confirmation email, and your moving up the list email. im losing hope here guys...
 
A little hope!

Just called CambridgeSide and spoke to someone. I asked her if they were getting regular shipments and she said yes. They actually received a big one today and will be receiving more on a regular basis. I asked her what the average wait time is for most people and she said 2-3 weeks but since I signed up around 7/1 she seemed confident that this week I'll receive it.

Take it as you will but she was really cool about it. Less agitated than most Apple Store employees that I've talked to.
 
yeah im going on a week at tampa priority list...
wonder how they are going to handle it when we approach the 30days ?

im trying to trade back in for the 32gb......

As of last night another person that was on the list 2 days prior to me on 7/2 still had not received theirs. Not sure how many a day they have added on but the wait is mounting.
 
Impatient

I signed up on the priority list exactly 2 weeks ago on June 28th at 10:31 am and I still have not received an email to pick it up. I am getting very impatient and it is frustrating. I could have had it by the 14th had I purchased it through att. I decided not too in hopes of receiving it before then. :mad::mad::mad:

Sweet. I should get an email right around you then.
Just went into the store at lunch anyways and added a 32GB reservation to another apple account. Let's see if the 16 or 32 comes in first :p
 
Have my 16GB reservation over at Glendale Galleria since 6/29 and still no pick up email yet. My bro reserved a 32GB at the same time. I really hope they come in on the same day since we're planning to sign up for a new family plan.
 
Leicester Highcross store comments.

I walked in today to enquirer how the iPhone stocks were doing. I spoke to one of the new reps and was shocked when he claimed only 12 iphone 4 were recieved after the launch date. I looked and asked if he was sure. He whispered it's true and the larger apple stores have 1st priority of stocks. :-s

True or not.
 
Good News for Someone in San Diego

I walked into the Walmart on Murphy Canyon and bought 2 16g iPhone 4's. no joke. I am still on the waiting list for 2 at fashion valley. I will post on here if my name comes up and can meet someone there if they want to buy it.

But Walmart had some. :) Tell me why I was able to pick up TWO at Walmart before I could get one at the APPLE STORE!?!?!?!?!?!?:eek:

Other places.

Best Buy Mobile at westfield mall in ElCajon. the little store in the mall, not the Giant Best buy, is expecting some first hal of this week.

The walmart on Murphy canyon has some 16 gig black right now. Rosa will hold one for you if she has them left, and she is really nice.

I've been on the list since 7/2 so it looks like I won't be getting mine anytime soon if you didn't get it yet :(

Are you serious? I just went to the Walmart at Clairemont Mesa yesterday and they didn't have any. I'll just continue waiting for my email at UTC mall. Walmart is a bit far to go check everyday. And everytime I call a place to check if they have any, seems like the person at other end always say no before I can finish my question.

Must be 1000+ people on this list. Got on the list for a 16gb on like the 26th. Still nothing. I sold my old iPhone and decided to go iPad only until an iphone came in. Weird though because i don't even want a cell phone now. May not pick it up when they finally do get around to emailing me.
 
Finally!

Just got my "pick it up" email @ 1:27pm for the 32gb! UTC Mall, San Diego, CA. Was on the list for both 16gb and 32gb on 6/29, 8pm. Exactly 2 weeks. I guess 16gb takes longer.

I finally got my pick up email from Glendale Galleria. I got on the list on the 28th for a 32GB. Mann, this was torture.

yep, the walmart on Murphy Canyone Road, the one right off of Aero Drive. Ask for Rosa in the electronics department.

Well if they do email you and you decide you don't want it, I will definitely meet you there. I got on the list 4 days after you so it is really going to take awhile for me I'm guessing.
