So I picked up my new phone, downloaded some cool free apps, then when I was syncing my apps in iTunes they were all deleted. The apps were still on my computer so I was just able to reapply them to the phone, I was just wondering if this is a normal occurrence?

Haha, I'm wondering if this would be worth mentioning to my local Apple store or something I should just monitor for the time being.
Same here - on day 18 though. I would have ordered from Best Buy or At&t except I had gotten an Apple Store gift certificate for my birthday. I hope I get my phone soon.
My friend reserved the phone for me in France at the Apple Store - Louvre. However, the wait exceeded her stay in Paris and she came back to Lebanon a few days ago.
She received the pickup email yesterday. Another friend of mine went to buy it today. They wouldn't give it to her unless she presented the real identity card of the person who reserved - something she obviously couldn't do.
Luckily, there was a Lebanese guy working at the Apple Store there and he got them to give her the phone.
So after 30 minutes of intercontinental freaking out, I have an iPhone 4 in my name - one that I will start using Monday 🙂

Got on list 7/9 at the Gateway Salt Lake City store, still waiting, which is fine. I'm in no rush. Just want to get my 3Gs on ebay as soon as possible. People are still buying them for about $250, used.

Went on the list back on July 1st at the Manhattan Beach, CA store for two 16gbs. I thought, with all the activity going on yesterday with July 1st/July 2nd people getting emails, that yesterday would be my day. Nope.
Hopefully it's today as I'm headed out of town this weekend. If not, oh well.

Tried to pick up my phones at the Glendale, CA store last night, but to no avail. Apparently the AT&T networks were down, so they couldn't initialize any phones. 😡
There was a line of about 20 people waiting just in case the network came back up. For those of us who didn't want to wait, they gave us rain-check type tickets so we could pick up the phones today. Total bummer!!!

Good thing I could keep my unlimited plan. Before this phone, I used maybe 500MB/Mo. Now I stream pandora pretty much all the time. I'll probably get 2-3GB in a month.

That's weird..... and sucks.
I was at an AT&T Store (in Westwood Village) last night at around 7 pm, and the person I sold my 3GS to had no problems having her iPhone activated.
I guess it was their external activation system that was down.....
Just received my pick-up e-mail from CambridgeSide galleria. For others waiting, I've canceled my reservation since I picked my iPhone 4 up from Boylston already. Just to gauge your wait time for people still on the priority list:

Just got the email 1 min ago for Cambridgeside. If you can respond in the next 10 mins I can go there for lunch at 12:45, else it will have to wait until tomorrow at lunch. Unfortunately I have some things planned today after work.
Day 14 here, still no iphone. I thought that in Connecticut the wait wouldn't be as long as a more populated state or city, especially since the Apple store guy said "oh, about a week" <_<
