iPhone 4 Priority list

A question for those getting pickup emails - what time of day (time and tz) did you get your email? Is there a specific time of day I can expect it or does it come any time? On day 7 now and really anxious. I know from now on, I will definitely pre-order. I had no idea the demand would be this heavy.

PS - What makes me especially anxious is, I upgraded my 3G to iOS 4 and it has been running like a dog since then. Everything is excruciatingly slow on it. Trying to type in a text message is slow as Christmas. Recommendation - if you have a 3G DO NOT UPGRADE.

I got on Menlo's list on the 27th and got the email yesterday to pick it up. This was for the 32gb...I know someone who is on the list for the 16gb and they didn't get an email yet.

ooh ok. i got on the list on the 29th for a 32gb, so i'm crossing my fingers for this week. called and asked abt shipments that have come in since launch day and the genius said that they couldnt divulge that info. lol!

got on the priority list in Northridge, CA on the 26th of June...today is the 4th of July and still no email. That's 8 days and counting for me. I just found out that you can get on the priority list in two different locations, and that those who got on the list the same day on 3rd St in Santa Monica already got their phones.

I called the store and the lady estimated sometime this week, or maybe even the week after that. I guess Northridge had a huge line of people that got on the list before me. Anyone get theirs from Northridge yet?

I was put on the list yesterday 7/3 @ the Eastview Mall store in Victor, NY and they apple employee said most people have been receiving their phones within a week.

I'll let ya know what time I receive my pick up email.

I reserved my on jun. 26 at sherman oaks, ca and pasadena, ca. today around 4 pm i got my email to pick @ pasadena. so for those of you waiting, keep checking ur email 'cause it seems that they r getting d shipments.....best of luck 2 all of u!!!!

I went on the list last Sunday, 6/27/10, and got Confirmation email today, Sunday, 7/4/10 at 10:58AM... it only took 1 week!!! This was at UTC Mall in San Diego/La Jolla, CA.

Oh, by the way, they only give you 24hrs to pick up or they give it to next person on list!!!


P.S. Since they don't receive shipments on Sundays, my guess is someone didn't pick up theirs from an email they received on Friday (which they had until Closing Time Saturday).

Wasn't me! I picked up mine yesterday at UTC. Apparently they had white bumpers earlier on Sat, but I missed it.

I went on the list at The Hillsdale store (San Mateo, CA) on Monday around 11:30 AM and got the "come get it email about the same time on Saturday. I had taken Friday off, so I called a local Best Buy and found they had a few in stock. I bought my 32 GB there. My wife wanted one, too, so I picked up my reserved one for her on Saturday.

I reserved 3 iPhone 4 32GB Black and I've received Confirmation for two (2) of them... well, I've changed my mind.

I NEED:
2 iPhone 4 16GB - Black (mine & daughter's; we don't have many apps or music)
1 iPhone 4 32GB - White (wife; she has 100's of music and apps)

Does anyone in the San Diego County (CA) area want to take mine and trade for your 16GB???
I mean... if you must pick up yours today at UTC Mall, we can meet (at Apple Store) around 5PM and swap our Reservations!!!
I'm going to call them at 10AM (when they open) and tell Manager that if anyone made a 16GB Reservation and wants a 32GB instead, they can swap mine and make sure they reserve me the 16GB instead... so, if you are in this predicament, you're set now. Make sure you go early enough!!!

Stupidly, when I listed my 3Gs on eBay it ended at 7pm on the 4th of July (who's at their computers then??) so it never crossed the reserve mark. Going to re-list again today hoping for a better end time... or maybe I just wait until I get my new iPhone and list then so I'm not stressing

It may just happen for you... it seems something came up this morning and I may be out-of-funds ($$$).
