FYI for people waiting on the Upper Westside store in New York, I got on the list on the 25th and received notice last night for the 32GB phone.
I put my name on the list the day after release, at the store in Reston, VA. Got the email today that the phone is in. Will be held until tomorrow. Already got one at another store, so I will cancel the reservation.
Oh OK. Thanks! That's the only store where I didn't put my name on the list. lol.
No email for me this week to pick up my iPhone 4 at the Apple Store in Freehold, NJ . Disappointing, especially because other stores in a 60-90 minute radius around me had gotten an iPhone 4 shipment this week. Could I receive an email today past 3pm EST or would the store not get a shipment in the late afternoon/evening?

anyone in nj--how long were you on the list before you received the email. I know the avg is about a week. Im on the list in menlo park and its getting close to a week. i wondered if they got shipments in since launch
I finally got my iphone 4. got the email at 9:36am today. Since i work Graves, i was asleep when it came lol. went and picked it up around 4pm. its AMAZING!!! super fast! ^_^ 32GB black
Got my email this morning and picked up my 32gb. I'm in sf and went to the downtown store. They had a ton in their cabinet behind the counter.
I got on Menlo's list on the 27th and got the email yesterday to pick it up. This was for the 32gb...I know someone who is on the list for the 16gb and they didn't get an email yet.
Okay guys, this is day 8 for me. Still waiting for the Apple Store 5th Ave NYC to get back to me. I'm going to give it til tomorrow and if nothing I'm going to call up and see if I'm still on the list, but nevertheless this has been frustrating. I ordered a 16GB if that has anything to do with it?

Hey I've been waiting since the 24th last month on launch day. My email came through at 8:09am on that same day, yet still I haven't heard anything at all.
The main thing that concerns me is that people who ordered a few days after me have already got their phone.

My brother in law recieved his email today from the 5th Ave store in NYC. He got on the list on June 26.
I went on the priority list Sat. June 26th (2 days after launch) at the Sherman Oaks Apple Store, CA and received my pick-up email on Sat. July 3rd. Exactly one week later I got my 32GB iPhone 4. Simple, and set-up/activation in the store took about 5 minutes.
going on 10 days for me also...starting to lose hope...saw a good commercial for the droid the other day...
