Blackberry 9800 Torch is no where near iPhone 4. It has absolutely no advantage over iPhone 4.
Here are the issues on 9800.

1. Only VGA recording
2. No Front facing Camera
3. Same price as iPhone, but it only offers 4GB storage internally. They provide you with additional 4GB card, but you have to buy one separately. Yes, you can buy another Micro SD card, but it's too expensive.
4. 3.2 inch screen is too small.

The BB doesn't have the technological specs of the 4, and that doesn't bother me, but reports that the phone can handle the new OS does. If RIM didn't give the Torch the firepower, it will fail.

They are still using 624MHZ processor they used in 2008 with 9000 bold. Oh, isn't that nice? 480X360 resolution? Iphone 4 has 960X640 and Android phones have Amoled or Super Amoled Screen with 800 X480.

I seriously doubt 624HZ processor will be sufficient enough to handle Blackberry OS 6.

Wow @ the 9800. I was about to go in the store today to buy a 9800 and get rid of my iPhone 4 but I decided to keep my iPhone 4. The 9800 screen is GARBAGE in person. Wow, RIM. Are you serious? The only contender the iPhone 4 has on AT&T is the Captivate. Now, that's a nice phone to get if you didn't want an iPhone. And the 9800 browser nor the Captivate browser is better than the iPhone. The iPhone 4 is without a doubt the best smartphone out. RIM, really should be ashamed of themselves! There's no way in hell I'll go back to a low resolution screen. The BB 9700 screen looks way better than the 9800 - but the 9700 screen is smaller.

Tried my daughters BB torch and wanted to throw it against the wall... I never have figured out how to copy and paste. Yep, I\'ve been using video calling for 5 plus years on AT&T. It\'s nothing new here in the states, just new to apple.
