Just have to say this is my favorite iPhone wallpaper thread.

That image isn't actually big enough to make into a 960 tall image for the iPhone4. You could resize it, but that would kind of defeat the purpose of hi-res wallpapers...

Ok I did this so now you can add your own background without needing GIMP. It's just a 640x960 image and the entire thing is transparent except the stacks line (it looks completely white but it's not). All you have to do it open this up in any image editing software that handles layers, add a layer of any background, then put that layer behind the transparent one then save it.

I don't get it, what the advantage of this? GIMP/Photoshop/etc clueless (well, I can work them a bit but never learned the advantages of channels, layers, etc).
