Thanks all for the direction on how to create these. Here's a few that I threw together while experimenting with a couple of different backgrounds. Enjoy. :D

Is this big enough? ...feel free to cut the (now distorted) gradient.

If not, can anyone help me enlarge the pic without losing so much detail. I tried to resize and vector the resized image to re-sharpen some of the distorted detail, this was the result. Sorry, I'm a novice at this stuff....

Thanks

this is the best i can do with that image, having the sides cut off means it's not very good for this type of wallpaper

Quick question?!?

When you created this, did you create the image as a PNG with a clear background, so it could be overlaid on the wood?!?

Could you post that clear PNG please?

I've been trying my hand at this an want to try it overlaid on some different backgrounds I found...

ThaChadwick my man, check this post out:

• Wood Base in PSD format •

There's a link to download the actual file in the post. This gives you a great template to work from; then you can discard/hide unused layer(s), save it into PNG format, etc.

Credit for said template goes to the member who made the post.

;)

Ohhhh, because OP had chopped the gradient background on my original image, I was under the impression he made the background on my original image clear, then overlaid it on the wood. And that's what I'm lookin for ...my original image with a clear background BEFORE it was overlaid on wood.

Sorry, this can get kinda confusing. I'm trying learn on the fly...

@ThaChadwick I know what you're trying to say. I'll try to get this done some time this weekend for you. Is there any urgency to this?

@Mr Incognito, no urgency at all but I really appreciate your help. Thank you very much!
