iPhone 4s 1080p sample video file

No need to be rude. You're reading what I wrote, so you must have a computer, so I wasn't referring to you. The people I'm referring to are the people that can't read what I wrote anyway.

While I don't agree with you that people that can't read probably are too poor to own a computer, I LOL'd at this post.

Thank you I needed it. haha

Nice video of course, thanks in large part to dollies and cranes. But even the stabilized bike ride clip shows serious rolling shutter. This will keep it in the phone-quality category.

Ok, so you know software has been used to spice up the video.

What's your proof that it was software in Final Cut and not software built into the phone's camera app? We know it can do stabilization, after all. Who's to say it doesn't have other auto-tweeks in there?

Fact is, none of us know anything until next week. Don't act like using Final Cut makes you a psychic when it comes to knowing what's in the un-released iPhone. That doesn't give you magical insight into what the camera app does to the footage.

il be the first to dissapoint you all, your videos will look nothing like these, why you ask?, well my friends simply because of two things, it was a nice bright day, wheres a night shot? second of all the white balance had been set and there most definitly would have been colour correction on final cut or something, simply put this video is yes a video from the iphone 4s, however its not raw footage, i know this because i produce e-learning videos, this is a nice video and from a phone it certainly is good once its been produced... so dont be fooled into thinking this is raw footage.

when you make videos then you can speak, your a photographer and dissapointingly you have failed to spot the enhancements that were made to this video, it was CLEARLY edited, dont be a buffoon and argue with me accept the fact that what im saying has a foundation of truth, its true i dont know if it has been edited, but my friend i have been trained to know when/how/what a film has been edited with, photo's and videos are two different things, just like motorbikes and cars, the iphone may have indeed produced the video but then so can any camera, its what you do with the image that counts...

lol my friend you couldnt get someones teeth that white and the colours that great on a industry standard entry level sony camera, im a video producer i know what im talking about, do you think a canon d7 could reproduce a picture like that iphone without it being edited, please i know what im talking about, in no way am i dissing the phone, yes raw footage from the iphone, great, its called 'terms' get used to it, im in the business and know what im talking about, yes i said it twice, all im saying is dont be disapointed when you press record and watch it back and its nothing like what they have shot, and il be getting the 4s not for the camera even though its a nice feature but just because i need one,

and if you now about the basics like colour correction and white balance then youl know that this wasnt footage taken by some stranger, a PAID camera man took this... or at least someone who knows what the hell they are doing did.... remember to sell a product we have to make it appealing.... iphone 4s future customer.....

you sound like one of those pushy persian electronic store salesmen who are always calling customers their "friend", even though they're really not.

The video looks excellent. It is clearly shot on a crane for most of the time, but that is to be expected.

You can't take video from any camera and make it looks good, even if that video was edited, it would of had to of been atleast similar quality in the first place. If all they've done is some color correction and brightness/contrast alterations then thats fantastic, because guess what ? if they can do it, we can do it too.

Video editing is not a bad thing, it is not a sign of a bad camera. They use cameras that are tens of thousands of dollars for movies, and i will bet $250 they use much more vigorous post production techniques on those Hollywood films than apple did on this.

Just watched in HD. Very nice. But of course that's on natural daylight and probably on a tripod. I wonder. That or it's using the new stabilizing technology in the phone. Either way -- impressive. The camera that's with you is the best one, so I look forward to it.

That's if it was really shot on the 4S. We will see when we get our hands on it.

It's unquestionably shot on the 4S. You really think Apple would take a video with a different camera and pretend it was shot on the 4S ?

They would be in a whole load of trouble if they did, the amount of respect for them would drop like a stone.

It's not Apples style to deceive.

No doubt teh camera and video specs are MUCH better. That and a faster CPU and it is MORE than worth the upgrade!

What the **** do you think it was shot on?

I'm sorry but some people are borderline retarded.

Unlike most people I go off hands on experience. So when I get it in my hands and do my thing with it I'll be happy. If you don't understand that then you're a horrible shopper.

it seems responses to me are trying to say that im against the 4s, im actually buying it with the excuse i can use it as a portable video camera, i was merely STATING the fact that this video is straight uploaded from the phone, it has been edited i even asked my boss who edits espn premier league videos even he said it has been edited, i just wanted to share that information with those who do not know how to edit videos properly or with little experience that their videos will probably never look this good.... there should be a new thread when the 4s is out, amazing 4s videos and be stickied...

I know man. But fanboys see anything other than sucking up bashing. This is a nice pic though.

They talked about a lot of software and hardware enhancements built into the phone to make the camera better. You say it's been edited, but don't say how, so I don't really understand what makes you so certain it's not just the phone itself making it look good, and if that's the case, what's the big deal?

This guy Salacious is just a troll.

Let him be with his conspiracy theories. If this video (with the balloons) was color corrected then they should fire the colorist. The white balance is not matching shot to shot and clearly automatic in camera.

It is edited with fades, cross-fades and cuts, nothing you can't do with the imovie or vimeo app right now. (on iPhones and iPads)

What we see from this footage is a great consumer grade picture. The colors are saturated because it is more pleasant for family videos who DON'T color correct their videos.

It's not without flaws. There is noise, aliasing, rolling shutter etc... but you are not buying this to make feature films are you?

Apple uses the Omnivision’s OV8830 sensor which is a very capable imager and it technically can go up to 4K...

You can read more about that here: http://www.eoshd.com/content/4362/iphone-4s-camera-sensor-actually-capable-of-4k-24p-video

This footage is legit and everybody will love their 4s camera.

Sorry for the rant I had to intervene after reading video producer Salacious saying "he knew what he was talking about" 4 times and that his boss was editing ESPN videos.
