On a side note the 4s as it's being called is just a testbed phone, one that began as what would have potentially been a replacement for the iPhone 4 during antennagate. It led Apple to realize that the antenna as it was configured could not be "fixed" (my phone worked fine by the way with no more dropped calls than usual).

Not to mention that many sources have stated that Apple is testing iPhone 5 internals inside of iPhone 4 bodies so that the design is not compromised like we saw last year. My guess is that this is the origin of the "4s" theory.

No I'm saying that when i googled "iphone4 return rates very high" that came up, i cannot help if it was changed or edited and the old article is what had come up.

It never changed. This is what the article always said but it contains all the keywords you Googled. Just not in the order you were hoping.

Either that, or the 4S is a new version of the iPhone 4 that is considered the "pre-paid/cheaper" phone.

Randomly throwing this out there, what if the iPad X using the A# processor docks to station that has various ports, ThunderBolt, USB 2/3, Ethernet Gigabit.

Now consider that if a docking station had an x86 processor and memory. This would be that the iPad X or even an iPhone when not docked would run iOS and when docked would run Mac OS X. Marrying the iPad and iPhone to run both iOS and Mac OS X in the future would be the post-PC era with the option to dock it for added horsepower. Just a thought that I believe might eliminate the requirement for a desktop, laptop and tablet/mobile line. Simplification at its core, sounds like :apple: to me. Any thoughts regarding this considering :apple: is possible testing an ARM MBAir. :D

Thinking about a tablet computer instead of a laptop? Lenovo is offering to sell you both at the same time.

The China-based computer maker is using the Consumer Electronics Show this week to announce an unusual hybrid product called the IdeaPad U1 that covers the two categories. It can function as a conventional clamshell-style laptop, which runs Microsoft Windows, uses a microprocessor from Intel and weighs in at about 3.8 pounds.

Alternatively, a user can detach the 11.6-inch, 1.6-pound screen and use it like a tablet, Lenovo says. The display includes all the features of a computer, including a Linux-based operating system and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip, which is not based on the x86 technology used in most PCs but a design licensed from ARM Holdings.

News flash: No new ipad coming this year!!!

On what planet do people believe that another iPad will be released this year? Where do these reports come from? 2 iPads in the same year? Come on people get with the program.......:)

Hopefully they will announce a 7" iPad along with the new iPhone.
I agree, a 7" iPad would be very handy considering how much I travel. A friend has a 7" Galaxy Tab and that's a nice size. However since it's not "Stevie's Idea" Apple will probably never be open minded enough to build one. Also that's a very popular size for Android tablets, which is another reason he would avoid it. There'd be no bragging that he "created" that size category.
