Engadget posted about it too; and since Topolsky is @verge, and @arn is obviously @macrumors, looks like 5/5 ended up posting about it. Glad to be able to post this before the big boys! 
IF the iPhone 4S 16GB is in fact $99, ($350 on early upgrade) I will get one. If it is $199, I'll have to think about it.

Obviously the chances of an iPhone 5 are very slim now.
But does anyone else find it odd that Apple has been really sloppy with their leaks? First the 4S in iTunes Beta, and then 4S in the Japanese website.
It makes me wonder.

I concur. This website gaffe is obviously very close to launching and therefore it isn't that big of a 'leak.' With the 4S in iTunes 10.5 however, that has been available since Beta 5 (August, I think?) We're talking 2 months ago someone could say for sure that Apple is releasing a 4S.
Gizmodo leaked the iPhone 4 just over 2 months (April 19th, release June 24th) before the actual release of the phone and that was obviously a huge deal. Why leak it internally following almost the same timeframe?

tbh, I'd be perfectly fine with the same design as an iP4, just with a 4" screen.
