iPhone 4S confirmed!!

If that's true, then I'll pry upgrade from my 3GS, all I really wanted was faster than 3G speeds. Since I didn't bother with a 4, it'll still be an upgrade from 3GS spec wise, but I can see how a lot of 4 owners are pissed with the hype being a completely revamped phone. I wanted a redesign as well, it's still a let down considering 16+ months developing and this is all they came up with.

Did you expect it to be higher? Or were you under the impression that Apple would price it more reasonably given its age? If so, I may be forced to chuckle.

Not a chance that Apple would delay the release of a product to work on its successor.

We always use the term 'delay' as a typical consumer does. Apple once again proved that they don't owe us anything. If they make great new products, people will buy them. If they make mediocre updates to their products, people will buy them.

So 16 months ago O spent £500 on an iPhone 4. And now apple would like me to do the same again for a 8mp camera and CPU upgrade. Hmm, no thanks apple.

Biggest fail I've ever seen from apple.

I love my iPhone, loved my last iPhone, love my iPad. I'd say I was a fangirl, but man this just fails.

Android looks mighty tempting right now. Apple aren't offering anything in their 'new' phone that hasn't been around for a year or so.

It's either spend half a grand on a minor upgrade, carry on using a 16 month old phone until apple decide to actually release an upgrade, or change OS.

Apple doesn't expect you to do anything.

I expected it would be cheaper, something like $99/149 (others said $99, I was on the $149 train) for 16GB, $199 for 32GB, and $299 for 64GB. $399 for a subsidized phone is insane.

ive got a 3GS so the jump for me to the 4S will be huge!
ok if your an iphone 4 user then maybe id be slightly miffed.
yea id love an ali back iphone instead of glass, but apart from that what else could apple of done?
spec wise its brilliant, so as long as three do me a reasonable upgrade price ill be getting it

I will say though I'd wish they'd do something different with iOS, it's just kinda boring now and feels monotonous after all these years especially with the new Droids and their flexibility. But the Windows phone is pretty damn impressive, Mango looks like a slick and cool UI.

I agree, which is why I went Android two years ago. Meh, I'm probably just going to get the new iPhone; the screen size is somewhat small but I'm sure I'd get used to it after a while.

jeez are some of you got terrible eye sight or summat?
i have zero problem looking at the screen and dont find it small at all!
ive looked at the htc desire hd etc and the screen size on those look ridiculous, i want a phone not a small tablet attached to my face when im on a call

1) "jeez are some of you... eye sight or sammat?" No, we just don't like pinching and zooming every 3 seconds. We also don't like watching videos or looking at pictures and having to look at a 3.5 inch screen.
