iPhone 4S confirmed!!

Posted this earlier but in the wrong thread.. but does anyone know if they mentioned it having HSPA+?? I didn't see it, unless I missed it. Seems investors are disappointed as well, stock ramped to over 380 heading into the announcements and then continued to drop when an "iphone 5" wasn't mentioned but 4S was. Stock's at 3.63 now dropping like a rock, been hovering in the low 370 range since the announcement. I think a lot of people, investors especially since they didn't react well to the news, were expecting a completely brand new phone b/c of the crazy hype and rumors. No matter if this is the 5th gen as most don't understand how Apples gen system works, majority of people just see "iPhone 5" and expect a new phone both internally and externally. Market wanted an iPhone 5, not an updated 4.

I too was hoping for something else along with new design... but I'm due for an free upgrade and still have my 3GS. So will pry get this 4S as long as it has HSPA+.... if it doesn't, forget it, going Droid since Verizon has complete LTE coverage in my area and damn near all of South FL in general.

I think it's NOT HSPA+ from what I see on engadget.
 
No HSPA+ as far as I know, just HSDPA. I'm not pleased.

The camera looks like the best upgrade so far. 1080p and image stabilization, finally. I'm sure the IS is digital but it's better than nothing.

14.4mbit HSDPA. No HSPA+

Apple really blew it on this one. Oh well.
 
I'm seriously underwhelmed as well. They've had 16 months to give us something beautiful and all we have is the same phone with a spec boost. Wow - what gives?
 
After 17 months the best we get is a Nano with a Mickey Mouse face? Ill show you something Mickey Mouse...your engineers...Apple you dissapoint me more than my kids!
 
Well at least, for me, it becomes an easy decision to wait.

I'm surprised there is no poll up yet...
 
So, can someone tell me what the ****** Apple's iPhone hardware team have been doing for 16 months?
 
Boring keynote. Boring products. I'll definitely not waste my money for an iPhone 4s. Seriously underwhelming.

And who gives a dime about Siri? They didn't even bother renaming it. I don't believe it. What were they doing?

After today, market share, I'd guess. They waited way too long to put out a spec bump phone..

Wow, what a moronic move... of all the things they could update, no HSPA+ to get away from the crappy slow 3G speeds? Man they screwed the pooch on this one. That's about the only thing I cared about since 3G is so slow nowadays. I'm due for an upgrade, but I'll go Droid for LTE since Verizon has basically all of South FL along with damn near most of the country covered with LTE where they service. Even if it's not "true" 4G as apparently they and others will be fully updating through the next year or so, it's still a hell of a lot faster then slow a$$ AT&T 3G.

I can't believe 16 months of development and all we got was an updated 4 with no HSPA+, how they could leave out HSPA+ especially with AT&T coverage boggle my mind. Sometime people/companies do things that make no sense and make you go "wtf"... this is one of those times.

Market obviously reflects that, lot's of disappointment, nice drop today, and in the last week stock is down about 10% going from over 400 to low 3.60 range now, they had a nice run up the last year, but looks like the hype is wearing off.
