Most did. Apple focused on gaming (Infinity Blade2) .. common ...

Guess Google is happy with the Apple Keynote. They are laughing all the way..

for 16 months i believe all the engineers just playing the infinity blade 2 together

would Steve Jobs have been cool with this? BETA release of a feature? Normally Steve Jobs dishes out the goods once its completely final. Oh my times have changed. This is not the Apple way imo.

That's definitely laughable. I have no need for it anyway. I'm glad to stick with my 4.

I've seen better looking train wrecks than this. Apple is going to learn a lesson from this. Crappy incremental updates are not acceptable for the time period in between devices. I'm sorry everyone this is a total fail. Sure the a5 chip and the camera will make a difference but not enough to make me splash out ton of cash or sign another 2 years away to a contract.

Looks like i will be getting another phone and getting an IPad 2 so i can hold on to the Apple ecosystem

Well I'm incredibly disappointed. Won't be getting the iPhone 4S. No point. I can live without the A5 or the 8MP camera. What I wanted was an iPhone with a larger screen and now it is still one of the smallest smartphone screen on the market. Of course, this does not mean I'll be moving to Android, but I'll be shopping around over the next few months.

So 16 months ago O spent £500 on an iPhone 4. And now apple would like me to do the same again for a 8mp camera and CPU upgrade. Hmm, no thanks apple.

Biggest fail I've ever seen from apple.

I love my iPhone, loved my last iPhone, love my iPad. I'd say I was a fangirl, but man this just fails.

Android looks mighty tempting right now. Apple aren't offering anything in their 'new' phone that hasn't been around for a year or so.

It's either spend half a grand on a minor upgrade, carry on using a 16 month old phone until apple decide to actually release an upgrade, or change OS.

can someone who knows what they are talking about please explain something. i was under the impression that there will be no bigger screen for iphone because that would require all the apps to be re-done otherwise they would become pixelated????

Developers would have to resize/optimize their apps- it's the same story as when the iPhone 4 with the retina display came out.
