What are you talking about? If a well known hacker in the community says he has a jailbreak, provides proof, has made jailbreaks in the past + has even contributed to Pangu9, and is endorsed by fellow hackers, why even bother arguing?

Multiple people have jailbroken iOS 9.2+ and iOS 10, and just because you're jealous that you don't know how, doesn't make them 'fake' at all. :D
Jealousy has little to do with it, I don't even jailbreak my devices. Common sense dictates that, if the public has no access to it, then it doesn't exist for the public. The next time a developer releases a video of a jailbreak, but refuses to release the jailbreak to the public, please send me a link to the jailbreak.

Never trust pictures or video. I could make/fake a video right now of me jailbreaking iOS 12 and I'm almost positive that someone would believe it, even though iOS 12 doesn't truly exist at the moment. Reality is not defined by your beliefs.

Did you (intentionally) not read the bit where I said:

"Well, a well known hacker, iH8snow, who literally single-handedly jailbroke iOS 4, 5 and 6 for millions of users and created tools such as redsn0w, uploaded a video that serves as proof on his Twitter. He has an iBoot boot chain exploit that he is keeping to himself. Because of this, he can jailbreak any future version of iOS as long as his exploit is kept private and is therefore not patched with future hardware.

Another hacker, Luca Todesco, has been acknowledged by Pangu to have contributed to the Pangu9 jailbreak and he posts literally hundreds of examples of proof on his Twitter. He has multiple userland exploits that he is also keeping to himself."

This isn't really about pictures or video, and I doubt you could fake years of contribution to the community and thousands of supporters.

I read it, it just has no meaning to me.

I remember when a "well known" developer released a video of himself gaining root on a device and included a statement that he would release it to the public on a certain date. There were a great many comments from the community stating that they were waiting for the release. On the release date, this well known developer released a statement that the whole thing was a psychological experiment and that the video was fake.

Power of suggestion can be quite powerful, but I choose to believe in reality.

Source?
I think you should take off your tin foil hat and face the facts... proof doesn't have any 'meaning' to you but an anecdotal story does?

If you're going to try and challenge me, don't be as vague as you possibly can, seriously.

please just stop arguing about the jailbreak please. this was completely unintended

Dude if you are downgrading your 4S, use Odysseus OTA and go back to iOS 6.1.3... Best decision I ever made to mine. The only downside is app support, but I managed with it perfectly and still manage to function with iOS 6 on my main iPad. Depending on what you need and/or want, iOS 6 is a gamble, but I personally think its worth it, but you might see that differently.

i asked how i can downgrade my iPhone 4S with iOS 9.3.2 because 1. you can't jailbreak it and 2. it's SLOW like nothing else
Oh... you might be stuck for a while on 9.3.2. o_o

the problem is i can't get a fully functional cydia on there because there's no public jailbreak yet for that. basically, it's not jailbroken but i'm not looking for app support. i have games on my iPod
[doublepost=1467153018][/doublepost]post 2: ya think

Well, all I can tell ya is hold on for a while 'til a jail-break comes out for 9.3.2 and DO NOT UPGRADE. If your phone is functional and not like broken, then you will be fine. one thing you might want to do is restore it, so you have a fresh start and then work with it until jail-break.

Trust me, you will love your phone again when you downgrade it to iOS 6. Some people have had baseband issues with the downgrade, but I didn't, but I used a different method, because I didn't have a mac at the time. I used it for 3 months then upgraded to the 6S. I wish I could've used it for longer, but I wanted to go ahead and get a new one so I have something ready for the future. Even though I have the 6S, but I still use my 4S today. In fact I've been using it today.

And the answer is that you can't (at least not so far), which has already been provided pretty much at the beginning of the thread (as has been pointed out a few times). What does "anything is possible" or anything else have to do with it?

I forget the source, it was a while back, but I'm sure Google could help you find it if you really wanted to learn about it. Believe what you want to believe despite evidence to the contrary, I congratulate you on a mission accomplished.

well when i was given the phone it had iOS 7 and i used it for a LONG time. it was refreshed twice and all it has is a cracked screen and a broken power button, but still usable. i think the iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak is coming next month so i should get this done when that time comes around. also the 4S's last iOS release will be 9.3.3, which changes almost nothing so the jailbreak should be compatible. not like i plan on the update, but anyone reading this thread in the future on iOS 9.3.3 should hopefully know the information i'm giving about the jailbreak. here's the site i got the info on:http://pangu8.com/932.html
