iPhone 4S Sales Now Reservation-Only at Apple Retail Stores in U.S. and Canada

managed to reserve 2x16GB white and 1x16GB black. Need them unlocked, so I' paying full price.
 
From the looks of it I reserved two somehow. If anybody is in the DC area and wants a 16GB black for AT&T there will be an extra at the pentagon city store

How long have lines been for those of you picking up your reservation?
 
This just refuses to work. It either says the site is down for maintenance, loads indefinitely, or shows no states or stores in the list. And when I manage to get to the product selection page, the model I am looking for is out of stock.
 
I am shocked at how poor this reservation system is. I've tried every night since it first started and have had no luck. 90% of the time I'm getting a reroute to the iPad reserve page. The other 10% of the time it tells me everything is out of stock.

I wonder if they will sell it to me without a reservation if I explain to them how it wasn't working.
 
I posted this in another thread, but I realize this is way better to post in. I apologize if I'm cluttering up the serious parts of the forum. Don't get mad at me though, I usually hang around the "community" parts. Anyways:

I just ordered another 4S (gave my other one to my dad) and Rogers says I'm "380th" in line.

Anyone with any experience with Rogers know how long that could take? I imagine it must take weeks and weeks to ship that many phones out from a warehouse?

Anyone got any ideas? I'm heading back to school soon and need to know if I should change my pick up location.

Rogers Communications made ma put down $40.00 to reserve an iPhone 4.
So when it came out I went to get one in a random store cuz there were so many of my category (I was getting the 32gig white)

I have had it since the 12th and I just got an email by Rogers telling me I am 832nd in the waiting list LOLOL!

after you get your phone from rogers, they'll credit the $40 to your account. if you cancel your reservation, you wont get the $40 back. i reserved on fido...im in position 1206 LOL

That is false. You get the 40$ credited to your account when you cancel the reservation or when the device ships, even if you never pick it up.

I had 2 reserved with Rogers, both Black, 1 16GB and 1 32GB. I bought mine elsewhere since they screwed up the shipping and reservations pretty badly. The 40$ was credited to my account as soon as my devices left Concord ON, even before I cancelled the reservation with the store that was getting them.

Yes, it worked for me. I reserved one last Wednesday that I later gave to someone else (no time to wait in the line), and another one on Thursday for myself. I logged in right around 8:55pm.
 
Apple i phone 5

This is very nicely reviewed and after the successful launch of the apple i phone 4s i am waiting too much desperately for the apple's i phone 5, 4s has many nice features in it a better camera which really tells us that what is meant by High Quality photos or High definition pictures, & the application Siri is the best application i have ever seen in my whole life, i wonder what will be i phone 5 is containing for us?

I'm hoping Canadians can help me here.
So I reserved a phone for my cousin using my id since he doesn't have one. He wants to buy it unlocked and I won't be able to pick it up since in working. Can he go and give my apple id and pick it up?
How would this work. He really needs it tomorrow and I can't pick it up for him
