-) The screen appears brighter and sharper than my iPhone 4 when set the same

-) The signal is not impaired by holding any corners

-) UK Siri has a male voice, this cant be changed

Hrmmm...

One thing I've noticed is that UPS hasn't improved their delivery time to my house since I ordered my last iPhone. :p

More of an iOS 5 thing but i'll add anyway:

They've changed the iPod app to the Music app and changed the icon on the app to a musical note.

I hate.

Turning 3G on and off

I've noticed too that there is no option to allow user to turn 3G on / off. Im kind of dissapointed because I am a heavy user and only turns on the 3G network when needed since it drains the battery.

Does the 4S have better battery life? or is there someway to turn on the edge network?

Polarized sunglasses cast a green tint on my 4S but not on my 4. Not sure if it has to do with the 4S being white or not.

- it's so much faster than the 4!

- white iPhones > black iPhones

- you can change Siri's accent!

From my understand, the white iphones are coated in a UV protective layer as otherwise the white color would turn yellow from exposure to sunlight.

This actually causes the white to cost Apple more money to produce than the black.

It will cause issues with sunglasses should you use both at the same time. It also might cause problems with video recording of the device itself.

Re:
-) Siri is off by default
--- This seems to happen when you restore from a non-iP4S backup. If you setup as a new device, Siri is on by default.

-) There is no option to switch off 3G under network
--- The options on that page are controlled by your mobile network company. Are you with THREE by any chance?

Others:
* Safari > bbc.co.uk/iplayer & ScreenMirroring & AppleTV2 = very useful :)

* Contacts. Each contact has a new section to set relationships (Sister, mother, father, etc). This is what Siri uses.

It's pretty high-- someone on reddit said 75,000 texts, but if you have had an iphone for a long enough time that isn't hard to reach.

I had no idea there was a limit.... I've had mine since 2007 and have text threads on my iPhone that go all the way back to day 1. Maybe I don't text as much as others..

If you look at this thread I made, others have verified it.

That is awesome... I was hoping it would be (not that I really had any problems with the iPhone 4 volume) considering Siri speaking out loud is one of the main features of the phone.

Siri Voice can be changed under, settings - general - siri.

You can chose

English (Australia) - Female Voice
English (UK) - Male Voice
English (US) - Female Voice, same as the one on apples videos

I've noticed that if you tap the corner by the camera it sounds like something is loose/rattling. I mean I know its not but it doesn't feel quite solid. Just an observation not a complaint.
