I've noticed that the UPS man never comes as early as you want him to.

he delivered way earlier then i wanted him too. usually he doesnt deliver to my house until around 6 he tried to deliver my iPhone at 1030 this morning and totaly ignored the presigned delivery note taped to the door which could be a good of bad thing

I've noticed that if you tap the corner by the camera it sounds like something is loose/rattling. I mean I know its not but it doesn't feel quite solid. Just an observation not a complaint.

It's that extra lens, just reminding you it's there. :)

-) Feels different in the hand, hard to explain, possibly lighter?

-) Steel band has a duller look to it, my iPhone 4 was shinier and smoother

-) Siri is off by default

-) There is no option to switch off 3G under network

-) The screen appears brighter and sharper than my iPhone 4 when set the same

-) The signal is not impaired by holding any corners

-) UK Siri has a male voice, this cant be changed

-) White looks gorgeous and fresh! :D

-) Locking the phone straight after using Siri results in an extremely loud locking sound!

Feel free to add your findings.
I think some of the differences you listed are due to the fact that you're comparing a brand new 4S with an iPhone 4 that's likely been used for over a year.

I noticed this as well. seems like the lock/power button? could be something else.

Siri Voice can be changed under, settings - general - siri.

You can chose

English (Australia) - Female Voice
English (UK) - Male Voice
English (US) - Female Voice, same as the one on apples videos

The only problem being that you have to speak in that country's accent, for Siri to understand!

When you take a photo and then crop it on the phone, when you import it into iPhoto, you can uncrop it.

Feels heavier than a iPhone 4 (which it is, not sure by how much)

The stainless steel band is a lot more shiny than the 4.

I love it :)

Turning off 3g

Do you guys think there will be an option later to have 3g turned off???? Im with at&t and there is no option to turn it off like there was for previous iphones

Well, I'm migrating from a 3G and comparing the 4s to the 3G is night and day so I will not dwell on it.

Things I've noticed:
1. It is louder and faster to respond to button commands than my 3G. I can confirm there is some sort of coating on the phone (4s). It is slicker than my 3G and my 3G is white.

2. Having access to Pages, Keynote, and Numbers is awesome.

3. Also, Siri is slow to respond while utilizing "raise to speak". Maybe I have to get use to waiting for the chime before I order Siri to do something. Not a big deal though. My flip case blocks the phone sensor, but that's not Apples fault. I use speakerphone most of the time anyways.

4. One question, where do I access iMessage? I cannot find it. :) It must be noted that I do not know anybody with an iPhone 4 or 4s, so is iMessage not available?

iphone 4s white has chip on right corner

I just unboxed my new white iPhone 4S and noticed right away a tiny chip on the top right corner! Anyone have the same thing?

I've noticed too that there is no option to allow user to turn 3G on / off. Im kind of dissapointed because I am a heavy user and only turns on the 3G network when needed since it drains the battery.

Does the 4S have better battery life? or is there someway to turn on the edge network?

this is a concern to me as i picked up a factory unlocked ip4 and plan on upgrading to ios5 for my niece to use on tmo. she doesn't have a data plan though and i was counting on this option to turn off the 3g so she doesn't get billed or have a data plan tacked on by tmo. :(

see the big green icon with the white dialog bubble that says "Messages"? That's iMessage. The beauty is that it fits in seamlessly with your normal text messages. There are settings for it in the settings app.

Yes, I was searching for this option too. I liked to use the 2G network for extensive phone conversations etc... My battery drains quickly if I use the 3G network for basic tasks. I'm not sure if they will add it. :( I don't know why it was removed to begin with. Also, was this feature available to Verizon iPhone 4 users?

Thanks bro! It is integrated into sms messaging. I thought it was a stand alone app. :D

Seriously? That's fantastic!!! Non-desctructive editing is such a great thing to have.

Yep. You can also do it on the phone, after saving it.

Other thing, but iOS 5 related: It's known you can use the volume up button as a shutter. But you can also use it to start a video recording.

Yeah I was also looking for an iCloud app icon and FaceTime app icon, which there are not.

I've stepped up from 3GS and it is massively better. Loving the screen quality and brightness/whiteness the most!

Just can't help but feel every man and his dog has picked one up or going to. I always like to think my phone is better than some of my mates, lol. It's the same though.

White is growing on me. At first, honestly, it looked a bit like it would be more suited to women with it's chrome Apple sign on the back against the white. But Im glad I didn't get the boring black

You can also use the volume up button on the included headphones for a nice remote shutter release.

Not only can you ask Siri to play specific songs, though it sometimes has trouble. Specifically with a song called "Street Halo" by Burial. But you can also ask it to play a podcast.

Ooh, very cool, and kind of stealthy. :)

Good to know: I listen to a lot of podcasts.

when taking pictures under fluorescent lighting, is there a green effect in the middle of the picture?
