Yeah the faux outrage is over the top, but forgive them. The Koolaid tastes so sweet, and drinkin' always be easier than thinkin'.
Back on topic, the body restyle for the iPhone5 sounds interesting. And the pictures of the new Nokia N9 that I saw yesterday certainly were sleek. Competition remains a good thing.

How true. But, there are blind cool aid drinkers on the left that soak up CNN's and the main stream left media slant everyday and feel compelled to squash any other opinions... And facts REALLY make them mad!

Fox is not just skewed to the right of truth, it's about (if not more) skewed to the right as MSNBC is to the left (I'd argue more. But sorry, yes, it's at least as much full of unicorns and fantasy as MSNBC).
Yes, they are all biased. But Fox goes out of its way to be biased (and then tries to claim it's fair and balanced. Maybe they mean that in that they are the only right leaning tv news so they have to lean farther right to create the balance).
I realize this isn't a political website but I feel I should probably clear up the confusion you are experiencing. I did not say "mainstream media." And the reason I didn't say that is because that is not what I meant. I mean mainstream culture, or popular culture. This "in" thing to do is criticize anything Fox News says, whether it may be true or not. I don't deny for a second that Fox News' opinion programs lean right. I just wish people criticized a network like NBC, or specifically MSNBC, for clearly leaning left. UCLA did a study several years ago about the media in this country leaning left. That is nothing new.
This thread is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Fox News runs a story that reiterates, and cites, other news agencies. In the very first line they say "if a fresh wave of rumors is to be believed." Yet there are several people on this thread criticizing it simply because it was from a Fox News article. My point, and I don't expect you to agree, is that nobody here would say "It was on ABC Radio so that can't be true", or "Typical Bloomberg, can't believe what they say."
I can't remember when I watched Faux News. Its their Slanted & Unbalanced views that always got to me. But I see the same biased views on all the national "news" shows. Just that to me faux has an agenda based upon their owners financial greed/desires.
That said, I believe they're merely running off of a rumor and trying to be that "we broke the news here first" crap.

And people bash MSNBC. People will try to denigrate and delegitimize any news source that doesn't mesh with their personal political and social views. Most news sources cater to a specific political leaning in order to boost ratings. That's all it ever really is about.
When something big happens in the world, you libs do not go to CNN, you go to Fox News! THE number one new in the world. That mean you libs got to be watching too!

Whether Fox reported the "truth" about the relatively insignificant tech news of a new iPhone is meaningless. On substantive issues Fox, Faux, Fixed News is total horse feces.

The "mainstream media" as you call them is owned and controlled by mammoth corporations who are not in the slightest bit the pot smoking hippies people like you make them out to be. Of course, it's not your fault, you don't know what journalism is, you don't know what the difference between facts and propaganda are, and you certainly do not know what leftism or liberalism or any of the other things you are told to fear are.
The "mainstream media" in this country is all about money, and sensationalism is what gets ratings so we get nothing but ambulance chasing garbage 24/7. True journalism is pretty much dead, and you won't find any of it in the corporate media which exists to distract the sheeple, and push the agenda of Wall st, the oil companies, the insurance companies, the pharma cartel, and the agribusinesses. This is why they spend countless hours giving us every detail about the latest celebrity scandal or child murder, yet spend no time covering the biggest crimes of all involving the banks and the corporate takeover of America.
Yet people will still bark about this mythical leftist media or liberal CNN. It's talk like that that makes me think this country deserves everything it gets, can't have a flourishing Democracy when the people are too dumb to see what's going on right under their noses!

Not the first time in history it's happened, nothing new, there's just no excuse for it these days as in the past people didn't have the internet to fact check something so easily.
