Hello everyone, found this forum after trying to figure out what's going on with shipping. I ordered my phone on Sept 14 at 2:18pm eastern time, delivery date by October 5. The phone has been in processing ever since! I've been noticing that people ordered after me and already received theirs or at least a shipping acknowledgment. Is it just me or is this happening to anyone else? I'm going away on a vacation on October 7, I was hoping to have the phone by then, but if its coming from China, I probably won't get it by then.
seems like something went really wrong here. Don't waste more time. Contact apple immediately.
I ordered about 4 P.M Eastern and mine has shipped a week ago (9/22/2012). Still in transit though.

Landed in Louisville at 1:17, import scan at 3:26, and off to the destination city at 4:39, a little more than three hours later.
Now it's in the destination city waiting for Monday to go out for delivery.
Nice to see that ups got their **** together, although it would have been nice if they didn't wait until a friday night to do it since everything that they moved so quickly now has to sit anyway. At least it's here now....
I hope this isn't a fluke and everyone else from here on out has normal transit times...

I'm in that same batch of import scans. Currently waiting for my departure to the NY/NJ border but can't find a flight leaving today or tomorrow to Newark that hasn't already left. Still have an Oct 1 delivery date. We'll see!
UPS is beyond effed up! My phone is now in Winnipeg, with an adjusted date of delivery of 10/03 now! WTH? I can drive there AND back the same day, and they estimate 5 days to do it by plane?

but no update since, needs to get to NJ for a "Monday Oct 1st delivery" I have a feeling mine will be pushed back. UPS in NJ usually holds packages for a day before shipping it out, not sure if they will make an exception in this case. Hope they do.
Checked this morning and it has left Louisville, KY. So, we will get our phone on Monday
I woke up to my phone being imported and now on the way to the city where I live, Macon , GA. Problem is, Apple didn't give us the option for Saturday delivery. If they did, I would be getting my phone today! Now I am leaving to go out of town for a week on tomorrow and won't get it til I come back next week!!! I am beyond ticked!!!!! And UPS said the terminal here is not open with office staff today for me to pick it up!

However, mine doesn't have an import scan either but it got updated last night with a destination scan which I believe means ready to go on a delivery truck. So you may not see an import scan at all. Hopefully it will come to you sooner.
FYI: Toronto folks, I have destination scan with the following update. Not that I beleive them.

My wife's last scan was a Louisville arrival scan. Its been over 30 hours and no import... What gives?

Mine is finally in St. John's. However it left Mt. Hope and went to Concord, then back to Mount Hope first? Now since UPS won't be delivering today or tomorrow I have to wait until Monday.
This will be my first and last pre-order I ever do with Apple. I am not a happy customer at this point.
I ordered direct in order to get an unlocked device. I don't care to stick with my carrier and want the ability to resell when I decide it's time for the next latest & greatest.

Left Kentucky. It's on the way to a hub that's less than six minutes from my house. UPS claims they have to attempt one delivery before I can pick it up myself from the hub.
Wow I can't believe some of you havent gotten it yet! I ordered mine around 5PM Est on the 14th and received it Tuesday!
I ordered my phone through apple on the 15th and received an estimated delivery date of Oct 10th - 16th. Did anyone else receive this same delivery estimate, and if so, has your phone shipped out early? I keep waiting for an email saying the delivery date has been pushed up, but no luck so far

I think the issue is that when ppl preorder they expect to get it before ppl who didn't. The reservation thing is great. I was able to pick one up for my dad this week but the one I ordered for my wife on the 14th is still not here. I wish they announced the reservation system earlier. Last preorder for me as we'll unless I get guarantee delivery on launch day.

I am assuming the "other person" is me lol. I have not seen any updates since KY, so =/ it's either it's in NJ now and we aren't going to receive an update till tonight at midnight, UPS is going to pull some magic, or we are getting a delayed delivery.
