So, they have 30 minutes to take it 7 hours away.

Might be a time travel situation, here. That would explain why it took them 7 hours for a 40 minutes ride.

I feel like it is being held captive in north york for the weekend. would be great if there was a way to release it from it's cell before Monday.
 
So...it looks like mine won't be shipped today (it might though, as it's the middle of the night in China.) I don't know if they send out shipments on weekends, but if not, it'll probably be shipped Monday. Hopefully it does. I won't be waiting another 2 weeks for my iphone when they're selling them in stores.

I'm in Vancouver and got it about an hour ago. (I'm part of the "Louisville, KY, United States 09/26/2012 1:23 Arrival Scan" group)

Unfortunately, it came with a pretty visible ding on the front edge. Hopefully they have some replacement units at the Apple Store. :(

They missed, I called Fedex and they told me I can pick today or tomorrow as next delivery attempt is on Monday.

I wish Apple had used Fedex this time too. I remember iphone 4S service from Fedex was smooth too..

This package arrived to Louisville TODAY and already made it. So it's all depends on luck. How far or near your package from you is irrelevant.

Got mine today at last. I was the group scanned at Louisville 9/26/12 at 1:23 am that sat there for a day and a half. It looked like the group that got there the next day at that time got out earlier. I wonder if they were in front of the earlier ones and blocked them in? Then they had to be processed first?

Who knows. It's been a long, strange trip. I have appreciated this thread, but don't plan to participate in one watching for my 30 pin adapter in October. I hope everyone who is still waiting gets their phone soon!

UPS has told me twice the delivery date is Oct 2 because that's their commitment to Apple shipment email had the same date. When I asked UPS why they had scheduled for Sep 28 EOD originally, the answer "we have no such information on our system"

I worked from home thinking today would be the day... and what a waste of time.

For everyone in anchorage, especially us there since early yesterday - there are 4 UPS flights going from anchorage to Louisville in the next 50 minutes.

Well, I'm happy for everyone else! But for me, since didn't come today, it doesn't matter what day it comes next week. I'll be out of town! So, I won't get it until I come back NEXT monday! :mad:

They will need to be on one of those to clear customs by Sunday morning to make a Monday delivery.
