It is a possibility, depending on where you live. My package was on a 7AM flight out of Georgia to Lousiville, and that is like a 40 min flight, so i agree that they are already in Louisville by now. They most likely have already left too, but that is just a guess. If they have left, I think it may depend on whether they drive or fly the package the rest of the way... No way to really tell for sure until the UPS tracking updates..

I'm in Pittsburgh. So here's to hoping for the both of us.

Mine was scanned right around this time but no movement yet from China.

Per the UPS site my phone is still in china, but I heard that all the Scans aren't showing up on the UPS tracking site because they are using other carriers to help them handle the load of packages they are getting from apple. I got that flight number when I typed in my UPS tracking number on FlightAware. :D

Where in the world did you type a tracking number on flightaware?

Me too.....Weird. They are probably trucking?

When I called UPS a couple of hours ago, she said it was by air; however, the rest of the trip to your house depends on whether it is truck or plane. I live in OK and am hoping it is by plane. Because if it is, I would probably have it by tomorrow

So in light of my horribly OCD tracking process, I decided to sign up for UPS My Choice Premier. Here's what it shows for my iPhones which have been in Louisville, KY since yesterday at 8:30AM:

Delivery Time: 09/26/2012 By End of Day
From: APPLEINC C-O FOXCONN HONGFUJIN PREC ZHENZHOU, CN

Interestingly I have no options to route it to another address, though I can have it kept for Will Call or delivered to a UPS store of my choosing (thinking of doing the one near work since I'll be at work and it's closer to Newark, but I'd hate for it to mess something up and be even later). I also can't set a 2 hour delivery window.

i am in the mid-atlantic and assume they are driving it down from NY.

14 hours with no update isn't a good sign but hopefully it goes out for delivery tomorrow.

if you go to your status and click contact us-->live chat, it will say where it is headed. for some reason, mine says in transit to louisville, which is where the hub is. So, I'm assuming they are there, and have been scanned, just on a logistical delay.

For those of us on the UPS61 South Korea to Anchorage flight, it appears that the plane will indeed continue on to Louisville - here is the itinerary.

What a great day. My iPhone started the morning having some great Chinese food. It had lunch in Korea enjoying some fine kimchi. Tonight, my iPhone will be enjoying king crabs. (perhaps when it gets to Kentucky in the middle of the night, it'll drink some whiskey to fall asleep)

Just stole this for my Facebook status.

Mine is on the same flight, wondering what happen in JFK, take too long to release.

Mine finally left KY, according to packagemapping it's going to Middleton, WI which is the local hub, so I'm pretty confidant I'll have it tomorrow!

I believe they forgot to update the Louisville, KY scan and the Hapeville, GA scan update to UPS happened before that.

I think I can still expect it by tomorrow EOD. Worst case by Wednesday. :D

This is wonderful. Although I think bourbon is a little more Kentucky appropriate :)
