Mine made it to Ontario (Los Angeles) yesterday afternoon, but no tracking update since. When I called UPS, they said it was scheduled for end of day tomorrow. Not exactly what the Express service advertises, but it'll get here sooner or later.

And I've been updated to Out for Delivery (still no delivery date or time listed). I'm guessing Apple's put a lot of pressure on UPS, who are more interested in getting the phones to people than keeping them updated.

I see some people from the 9/23 7:35 are getting departure scans and email conf through UPS my choice, congrats.

I signed up, still no update and the chat people say they can't tell where it is since it's in transit.

Did they break up it up and randomly pick who got on the plane like Sophie's Choice ?

Those of us that are in Korea now, looks like UPS is saying delivery will be Thursday even though the My Choice email stated tomorrow. I just logged onto the UPS site and it now has an estimated delivery date for Thursday. Still good with me!

yup that's the last I heard from a phone representative. they won't say what happened in China with the push back of the delivery time, they keep saying nope everything is fine and on schedule. I let the rep know that I know for a fact there are some packages/phones that arrived at ZhengZhou the SAME time that I did, that are already en route to the states, what is the issue with the discrepancies I was told there is no issue and my tracking should be updated "at some point"

I'm just done and livid with the whole situation, staying up to pre-order was the biggest waste of time, I could have had my phone on Saturday just by walking into the store.

Hmmm...I got my shipping notification on the 22nd, yet, my UPS tracking only states that the label has been printed and waiting for UPS to actually receive the package. Did my package get lost during the Foxconn riot? I called Apple and the rep was clueless. I even had her run the tracking and she couldn't explain the reason behind it either...

My Apple email states "delivery date: 28th". I'm just concerned since I've never had to wait more than one business day for the status to change from printed label...

Finally I've had some tracking updates! For the first time, UPS is giving me an estimated delivery. The Apple shipped email said 9/28, so I'm glad to move up.

Ordered AT&T- 16gb, white.. at 8:00am CST on the 14th... UPS.com text alert says departed ZhengZhou at 4:10pm 9/25 and is 'in transit' to Louisville, KY...

Is this possible? Is there a direct flight between the two?

I am signed up with UPS' "My Choice" program and get emails the day before packages are scheduled to show up. Although there is no delievery date when I look at the tracking info on the UPS website, I received an email from them this morning saying it is due to be delivered tomorrow (in Texas, ordered a 32GB black around 5:00am CST on the 14th):

Well, it looks like tomorrow was a little optimistic. There is finally a "scheduled delivery" entry on UPS' website when I track it there (there wasn't one as of this morning) and it is saying Thursday. That seems more inline with what others here are experiencing.

Oh well, still happy. I remember being amazed with the rollout of the 3GS. I think it is completely unreal that something can go from a collection of parts to a tiny little working phone/computer one week, be flown around the world and wind up on my doorstep the next and have that process repeated several million times during the same time frame with such a high degree of success. Kudos to the employees at Foxconn, UPS, contractor shippers, and customs!

...But it'd better show up on Thursday.

It'll most likely be tomorrow. Unless customs holds the pallet longer than normal. Everything is sitting at Louisville (my 32gb black is on the same shipment) on pallets waiting for US Customs to clear the pallet. Once the pallet has cleared customs, you'll see an Import Scan.

Unfortunately, UPS has no control on US Customs, they can hold the pallet as long as they want before UPS is allowed to touch it and break it down into the individual packages to be sent out.

Those of you in Korea now will be hopping on this flight which will then continue on from Anchorage to Louisville and will be there around midnight tonight. A lot of us saw this route taken yesterday with out own phones. I was told by UPS it would be delivered tomorrow so those in Korea now should have them on Thursday if everything hold constant. You may even get lucky and could get it tomorrow.

Thanks for the flight info. Do the phones that stop in Korea always go to Louisville by way of Anchorage, or have other stop over points been noted? Given that it is 12:45 AM in Korea right now, and that flight doesn't leave until 9:55 PM our phones will just be sitting there for the next 22 hours?
