You know its bad for your battery running it down to 10%.

40%-60% is generally whats keeps them in good shape.
It's better in a general sense to keep it somewhere between 1/3 and 2/3, but it's not exactly bad to run it down either or pretty much do most things without worrying too much one way or another.

iPhone 5 Bought April 10, 2013
Works great under 7.0.3, dies about 5-10 mins after it reaches 1%. Sometimes more if it's just on standby.

CycleCount 330
Capacity 1430
Charge Capability 1188

Not sure how bad or good this is, 82% capacity after about a year of usage.

In any case, I am out of my warranty now, so unless I do some sweet talking I am stuck with this for another year.

CycleCount 237
ChargeCapacity 1214

My iPhone 5 is 8 months old and is slightly better than your (85% of original capacity).
I don't think apple is going to service my phone with this capacity.

neat app...
my phone is 1 year old this month in about 3 weeks.
I will re-test once its at 100%
Usually I run my battery down to under 10% then do a full re-charge.

Cycle count: 16
Full charge capacity: 1350.

According with your cycle count, it has a new battery.
Maybe full charge capacity could improve a little bit in the next week ....
Anyway, I didn't see any iPhone with Full charge capacity near the designed value of 1430 ....

brand new iPhone 5s' in this thread showed a value of 1440 (should be 1550) with less than 30 carghe cycles.

After a couple of charges your battery capacity will go up. My iPhone had a full charge capacity of 1435/1430 after a few charges.

That's normal behavior, but we are speaking about people with 15-30 charge cycles, so their battery isn't going to improve anymore ....

Come on 5S users show us if you have the full 1550 (or is it 1570) charge capacity. At the moment it looks like 5S batterys have the usable capacity of the 5.

Looking okay so far

My charging habit:
- Charge it whenever convenient unless its above 50%, but try not to keep it at 100% for too long.
- Don't always charge it when I go to bed to avoid keeping it at 100% for too long.
- I find it ok to unplug above 80%
- I would top it up on the move with a mobile battery

Keep in mind we don't really know how accurate that reading is.
Btw your battery is 95% of designed value, not so bad after all...

Your charging habit made the difference.
You basically did all the right things to do to keep a lithium battery healthy.

This is on my iPhone 4S and has been doing great since launch.

Lot of charge cycles for a 1 year old phone ...

What about your battery endurance so far ? How many typical usage hours can you reach ?

 Your cycle count is pretty high for a 1 year old device. You probably should get a replacement. And it seems like you just fully charge it and fully discharge it every day?

Not everyday though but most of time because my battery doesn't last long for a whole day. Therefore, I don't have enough time to charge it before it turns off. :(

Leaving it in the charger (at least an official or a known good one) once it gets to 100% won't really do anything bad to it as the charging will stop and start again (if needed) appropriately without causing any harm to the battery.

iPhone 5 seems fine...

Cool application. Although I thought the battery capacity was 1440?

You are not going to overcharge it, correct, but lithium based batteries suffer from high voltage and low voltage state, so it's better not keep it at 100% for a long time.
The perfect range is between 30-40% and 90%.

Is it brand new ???
