thats amazing...i wish it was possible to manually backup app data in iOS6. and texts call history ect. if that was possible i'd do a setup as new iphone.

Yes I was surprised. Luckily my use doesn't really rely on certain apps to retain data. I do miss the call history, but that's ok. Still has all my voicemails so that's good enough I suppose.

My wife has been getting really good battery life on her new 5 compared to her 4s.

I got my phone with 75% on Friday. Then charged at 35% to full Friday overnight to Saturday morning. This is now.

Usage on wifi, LTE, and very little 4G.

Almost all of these are better than my 32 gig 4S running iOS 6. It doesn't drain when i'm not using it much, like on Sundays. (22-23 hours standby, 3.5 hours of usage) but in week days when i'm using it, i've even seen 7 hours standby 5 hours of usage. If i didn't have a car charger, i wouldn't be able to get through the day. Whatsapp seems to drain a lot of battery btw, anyone experiencing that? (no gaming btw)

Usage

AT&T with LTE on and mix of wifi surfing, a few calls, texting and numerous email with push on.

I'm getting better battery life on my 5 than my 4S. Very light usage. Just using it I check the occasional email, text, or surfing the web. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1348455701.333947.jpg

This is my usage. Was on LTE all day for the most part. Sent some texts, browsed for about 45 minutes, talked on the phone for maybe 5-10 minutes, 5 mins of listening to music in iTunes (and buying and downloading a couple songs as well) and played about 5 minutes of games. Pretty good battery I'd say, and that's some pretty heavy usage by my standards. We'll see how it does during a school day with LTE on the whole time.

Mine today, use has been mainly wifi while watching my 49ers lose and making a 30 minute or so phone call, with a few emails and Facebook surfing here and there as well. I'm pretty happy with the phone's battery life, leaps and bounds better than my 4 was.

I'm thinking you guys maybe need more calibration on your 5's.

I can't help but notice some of your usage stats look significantly worse than my 4S.

I usually get 24-25 hours standby, and 8-9 hours of usage before needing to charge again. It's sometimes a little less depending on how much stress I am putting on the phone.
