Meh. I want more. This is no where near what Engadget reported in their review.

Some LTE videos, surfing on wifi, some Facebook, push notifications on, push mail, a good amount of Minecraft.

LTE on only. Only used wifi to upload photos to Dropbox. Used pandora, Instagram, YouTube, speed tests. Really enjoy the battery life so far. Charging is also hella quick too.

My battery life is improving drastically day-over-day. I doubt I'll ever match some of the results in here though, like 12.5 hrs of usage. That's nuts.

I don't know, I think this is pretty bad.

I have LTE turned off(Don't have it in my city). Took a couple panorama's today and maybe 3 hours of web browsing and the rest was just texting and general usage.

That's terrible. You need to change out that
Phone for a new one.

Usage (moderate-heavy LTE browsing, no gaming)

- Verizon LTE all day, BT enabled, no WiFi AT ALL

- Had a clean strong connection throughout the entire day/night

- No gaming. Just LTE browsing, a few trailers from the Apple trailer app. panoramic shots, facebook/email push all day, sent multiple emails/iMessages as well. A very healthy dose of LTE browsing. Sites that I continuously pinged and had loaded: Engadget, TheVerge, ArsTechnica, Anandtech, CNN, cooking blogs, gaming/mobile forums.

- FYI I'm a complete Android fanboy and was absolutely THRILLED to see this kind of battery life.

I currently have 28% left with 16 1/2 hours standby and 6 hours usage. A lot of that was with LTE and the screen on for about 45 minutes straight. Just try turning off all the settings that were recommended to be turned off on the 4S last year.

More like misleading. 12 hour usage could be playing music stored on the device for all we know.

hi, new member here.

currently running some tests on my iPhone5 aginst my iPhone4, ill report back with some info, but my ip5 seems to drain alot quick than expected when just playing audio (no where near the 40 hours stated you can get)

done 1 full cycle charge and gonna test it all again.

some peoples results look good, other not so.

I've fixed my battery issue.

Location Services was the culprit - just went through it with a fine toothcomb, and now battery life is great again.

yeah location services dose drain it a bit ! I only have that turned on for cycling gps.

I purposely didnt charge it overnight because i wanted to see how the battery held up. It didn't drop even 1% overnight. I don't have push on, i just wanted to make sure there wasn't any funny business going on.

For my usage style, 7 hours is exceptional. Its better than my 4S!

(fyi i was planning on taking a screenshot when it got to 1%, but i waited too long, and then had to wait for it to turn back on after it died. thats why it shows its 6% and charging.)

So what actually counts as "Usage"? Is that anytime the display is on? Is it as simple as that? Thanks.
