I run my own millwork/cabinet supply business, dealing with custom home builders. My smartphone comes in very handy. Good portion of my clients will text me basic material lists they need ordered. I email my vendors from my EVO-3D. Obviously making tons of calls all day.

To me this phone is like a mini laptop that goes with me everywhere during the day. I find it extremely useful for day to day business.

Actually those are unauthorized stores that sell genuine Apple products.

Catch is the issue of warranty. Apple doesn't honor sales from unauthorized sources. This was an issue when TJ Maxx got their hands on a bunch of iPads. They aren't authorized to sell them so the serials aren't reported to Apple and thus aren't in the system as eligible for warranty. Could be the same thing in these China stores. Which is why folks are freaking

I am inclined to agree due to the number of components needed in the phone. Especially with the talk that this will be a one line to serve them all game. Make it too thin and you just don't have run for everything

I suspect this is for the touch, which won't be getting 3g.

there's still an antenna issue

The antenna issues was that ATT's service in several areas blows monkey spunk. So yeah, there's likely still going to be an issue.

I thought the iPhone 5 would HAVE to use mini USB and so wouldn't have the iPod dock connector (as seen in these photos).

Or would Apple have a phone for the EU and a phone for the rest of the world?

As long as Apple includes a free DC to mini-USB adapter with those units they are in the clear.

About a 100 years ago Henry Ford was asked about the colors of the new Model T car. He responded, 'they come in any color you want, as long as it is black.' You never go wrong with black, my preferred color, unless it is simple not an option.

Wasn't that also the guy who said something to the effect that if you asked folks what they want in a car they would say a horse.

What about if they went with a larger 4 inch screen with the same resolution as the iPad. (1024x768)? This would keep the resolution at retina levels AND a lot of apps are already written for this resolution.

It is possible. Provided it doesn't cause the phone to heat up excessively or the battery to drain like mad.

As for the Air, it can get away with it's design because it's a laptop, I don't think the same will work with a phone especially as it's used for so many games in landscape. it would feel odd?

really? janitors and fire fighters? both are generally set-hours and you seriously think a fire-fighter uses a mobile phone to be alerted about fires to attack or the other things they do?

on-call work is like F&B attendants/kitchen hands who work crap hours (albeit good pay). Factory workers, construction workers or self-employed low qualified electricians etc who work out of their car doing dodgy work for low-income households.

edit: the only industry in the world which has an upperhand on the mobile phone world, of taking something consumers didn't need and turning into a false necessity is the bottled water market. even the cosmetics and beauty markets are below the mobile phones and water markets. although they deserve it, because they gain by hurting people

You need to seriously get a grip. If you're having such issues please go somewhere else than here to moan about "the evils of mobile phones".

You do have a point though, in Switzerland, we have trouble with the immigrants not working at all and getting paid by Social alot of money just because they have kids and they wander around in mercedes while the rest of us have to pay for them. These people get around 4k a month by doing nothing of their damned lives and not contributing at all. Those deserve to be burned down but this is not a politic forum.

As for those cases, they could very well be the next gen ipod touch case, i really hope Apple stays with the iPhone 4 shape design and not the 3GS design.. The iPhone 4 is just so beautiful i take it out my case and just leave on my desk so i can look at it. With a dual core chip inside and a 4" screen it would be perfect the way it is.

Russia has the right answer to illegal immigration. If they don't leave, consider them enemy invaders on ground of national defense and kill them. That stops the flow of illegals real quick when word gets out.

How bout the Authorized Seller?

The cases are great but before we buy them lets think about the authorized seller of those cases because its unfair in their part..
